have originated from the name of a Gujarati sect or perhaps
from the Tamil word for a payment for work. An alternative
etymological explanation is that the word came from
the Urdu which itself could be from the Turkish word for
slave, qul. The word was used in this sense for labourers from

in Michigan who had become the spokesperson of

It is widely belived that during the Japanese moromachi period they had
become part of a japanese folk religon called Koshin. This belief basically is
about staying healthy by behaving well.
The original idea of the coshine belief is very old and it is assumed that this
folk religon is in by itself has its roots in China or India.
They also inspired a 2008 artwork series of sculptures created by Indian
artist Subodh Gupta that portrays them in different types of military
headgear. The sculptures recall a visual metaphor from India's famous
champion of peace.

the foothills of Trayakshakul mountain as per the
