Critique: Madama Butterfly Performance

I had planned the date and time for this milestone event since the metropolitan opera

words in this performance.
In music, Puccini used the best orchestra, with subtle sonorities and colorings throughout
the performance to achieve new levels of sophistication. But the concentration of opera on
the performer with the role of the title. Cio-Cio-San was the only character who experienced
performing this role in tragic and truth development on stage most of the time. The singer
conveyed an astounding array of characteristics and emotions, from ethereal to fleshly to
intelligent to dreamy-bordering-on-insane, to reisen in the final scene. This was the best
show; the performing characters were astonishing; they articulated and recited the play
exemplary: they had eloquent voices which moved the audience to excitement. What the
best show!
