2. Water and paper
• We pour water into a glass, mark the level, dip
a napkin into the glass, then remove it and
mark the water level in the glass again.
Children understand that the paper has
absorbed some of the water.
3. Water and soil
• We put some soil in a glass and then add
water. Children observe the bubbles coming
out of the soil into the water and so they
understand that there is air in the soil.
4. Water coloring
• Put dry lemonade in a glass of water. Children
watch the water color, produce color and
aroma. The kids try it and it has a sweet taste.
• Conclusion: water is a solvent, it can be
colored and flavored. It can be contaminated
if we put pollutants in it.
5. Experiments with the colored water
• In colored water we put a napkin, which is
also colorеd. Conclusion: colored water also
stains the paper that is immersed in it,
