Cell Phones Worst
Over the ages of time, there has been a questionable invention, several considered to be a disaster,
but the worst by far is the cell phone. A cell phone is not the worst because it doesn't always work or
its design, but rather it provokes problems with distractions, is ruining communication, and
contributes to cyber–bullying. Though viewed a cellphone is a helpful tool that most people have
access to, it has produced more negative effects on our health and well–being rather than improved
ourselves, and our society. Schools enforce strict rules about the use of cell phones for the main
reason such as students not paying attention during class. Several students believed that just because
they had the sound on their phones disabled that it doesn't affect anyone's learning experience, ...

Most people know it's illegal to text and drive and that it's dangerous. Yet texting, and driving has
become a normal type of behavior, doctor Seiler survey found that passenger's that ride with friends
or family members that text and drive without anything going wrong are more likely to text and
drive as well. Drivers that are deciding to break the law are also affecting their passengers to engage
in this type of risky behaviors. Quisenberry states in his article that texting while driving actually
impairs a driver more than a person under the influence while driving. The center of disease control
estimates that nine people die every day because of distracted driving and just a little over a
thousand are injured. Many cell phone companies have joined "It Can Wait" campaigns such as
AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, and T–Mobile to advise and teach young driver the serious consequences of
driving while distracted by making a pledge not to text email, or surf the web while being behind of
the wheel (Quisenberry). April is "Distracted Driving Month", but despite the countless widespread
of campaigns urging people

Eliminating Cell Phones
The county is thinking about eliminating cell phones from all schools. Eliminating cell phones is a
wonderful idea. Students should not be allowed to use cell phones in school because they are a
distraction, they can lead to bullying, and students are more likely to cheat. Firstly, cell phones are a
huge distraction. When a student has their cell phone on their desk or in their pocket, they are more
likely to pick it up and use it. When using the cell phone not only is that student distracted, it causes
the other students around them to become distracted as well. A student who is on their phone while
the teacher is giving instructions or talking about a quiz or test, is less likely to succeed then a
student who is actively paying attention. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
THe school system cannot block sites on a cell phone, whereas on the chromebook they can. So that
means, while in school, students can use social media however they please. Some students might use
that as a way to bully someone in their class without saying it aloud,by texting or posting it. Also, a
student might get bullied for not having a phone or not having the "right" phone. Lastly, students can
use their phones as an easy way to cheat. While there are many ways to cheat, using your phone
might be one of the easier and faster ways. Also, if the student gets caught the will try to make up
excuses for why they were on their phone. Therefore, the county should eliminate all cell phones
from schools. Students should not be allowed to use cell phones in school because they are a
distraction, they can lead to bullying, and students are more likely to cheat. Eliminating phones may

The Evolution Of Cell Phones
The beginning of the era of mobile technology started forty years ago with the first call from a cell
phone. Martin Cooper, vice president of Motorola, walked out of a Manhattan building and made
the first cellular network call from a DynaTAC phone. The first call was made to Bell Labs,
Motorola's largest competitor in the mobile marketing business. (Cheng, 2013) Cooper's phone call
started a trend in which technology constantly evolves. From the Motorola DynaTAC to the iPhone
5S, the mobile phone has evolved since the large, bulky device made in 1973. The very first cell
phone was released to the public in 1977, and two thousand people were given free trials of the new
technology. These cell phones did not have the capability to text or play apps. These devices were
simply made for calling. (History of Cell Phones, 2011) The phones were approximately four times
the size of the current iPhone, yet lacked almost all the features today's cell phones boast. Cell
phones were in high demand with only one company currently making the devices. By 1988, there
were fifty–four different places in the United States where cell phones were able to be purchased.
(History of Cell Phones, 2011) Entering into the ninety's, cell phones obtained new features. In
1992, the first commercial text message was sent form a cell phone. The message contained one
phrase, "LOL." Two years later, Tetris was made available to play on cell phones, becoming the first
game to ever be played on a phone.

Mobile Phone And Modern Cell Phone
Research Question Over years technology has expanded dramatically. The amount of high level
technology that is around us today in popular culture is massive. Things such as ipads, computers,
tvs, ipods, and especially cell phones are used 24/7. Since 1876, when Alexander Graham Bell
invented the first phone, it was a major success in technology. People could finally communicate
with each other on the phone without actually having to see the person. The invention was great and
really expanded the world with the telephone. Humans love to socialize. Before the telephone was
invented people had to get up and actually physically talk to the person. However, as time went on
phones have expanded. Home phones led to cell phones and now we have all the iphones. Are we
getting more sociable with the resource we have in the cell phone? Not just the physical aspect of
the phone but all the things that apply on the phone such as all the social media apps like twitter,
facebook, and instagram that are all accessible on the phone. The research study that i want to
analyze is does the modern day cell phone make people less physically social. Method In order to
test this theory out I first think it's important to define what sociable means. Sociable can be taken in
different ways so i would like to clarify specifically for this experiment. Socialization is the process
by which a living organism is changed into a person and a social human being. It is with the help of
this process that

The And Cons Of Cell Phones
When deciding to give your teen a cell phone it's imperative that you research the pro's and cons of
adolescents having cell phones. With this information, you can allow your teen to be more efficient
and hopefully dodge the 7 mishaps that most teens fall into when operating a cell phone. When a
child hits their teen years they become more involved with their friends than they do their family.
So, we as parents find that giving them a cell phone helps to modify their whereabouts and gives us
peace of mind knowing we can always get a hold of them and vise versa. Since our teens are so
focused on friends, having a cell phone has been a useful tool in getting the instant gratitude that
they are looking for. Unfortunately, studies have shown there are many medical issues that will
affect teens in their future years as adults. Below is a list of the seven mishaps with a brief
description. 1. Tendonitis: Many people who use a cell phone on a regular basis text daily; this is a
new way to communicate. By texting daily we will see more and more individuals with tendonitis in
their hands, which will cause arthritis and carpal tunnel. 2. Stress: Having a cell phone can be
stressful because many teens are very vulnerable and it's important to them to have friends and to be
able to fit in with their peers. They want instant answers, instant responses. Having a cell phone
causes teens to be on the phone too much and they may lose their ability to work on anything

Cell Phone Cloning
CELL PHONE CLONING Abstract You might have read news of the cloning of sheep or cattle with
amused interest. But how would you feel if somebody `cloned' your mobile phone? Technology is
finally rearing up its dark side. Along with the proliferation of technological innovations, this era
also marks the birth of the new–age IT criminals in a big way, with the latest technology fraud being
cell phone cloning. Cell phone cloning is a technique wherein security data from one cell phone is
transferred into another phone. The other cell phone becomes the exact replica of the original cell
phone like a clone. As a result, while calls can be made from both phones, only the original is billed.

The other cell phone becomes the exact replica of the original cell phone like a clone. As a result,
while calls can be made from both phones, only the original is billed. Cloning occurs most
frequently in areas of high cell phone usage –– valet parking lots, airports, shopping malls, concert
halls, sports stadiums, and high–congestion traffic areas in metropolitan cities. [pic] Figure 1.
Cellular phone cloning 5. Loop holes in Cell phone Networks ESN/MIN data is NOT encrypted on
the way to the MSC (Mobile Switching Centre) for further authentication. Thus, scanning the
airwaves for this data if you wish to clone a phone. By changing ESN and MIN, the cellular carrier
will accept the call and bill it to either a wrong account or provide service based on the fact that it is
NOT a disconnected receiver. It will also look at the other two components, in order to insure that it
is actually a cellular phone and to forward billing information to that carrier. The Station Class Mark
can also be changed if you wish to prevent the cellular carrier from determining the type of phone
that is placing the call. By providing the cellular tower with a false SCM, the cellular carrier, the
FCC, or whoever happens to chase down cellular fraud is often looking for a particular phone which
in reality is not the phone they are looking for. The Number Assignment Module (NAM) also has

Cell Phones Negatives
Cell phones are remarkably distracting when teens need to concentrate. Without the disturbance of
phones, teens are able to focus better on academics rather than social media and texting. Despite
these adverse circumstances, some people postulate that phones are advantageous when it comes to
studying and doing homework. Phones stimulate the brain and are tremendously addictive for teens.
Although phones have many of advantages while studying, the negatives overpower the positives.
Keeping a cell phone on a nightstand may not seem like a massive deal, but technology affects teens
sleep negatively in more ways than one realizes. Many young teens are compelled to sleep by
excessive cell phone use. Reading, texting, or scrolling through social media from a phone or tablet
before bed not only makes it harder to fall asleep, but also impacts how tired or alert you are the
next day. According to new research from Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston,
Massachusetts, the conclusive evidence found, impacts everyone who uses a source of technology
before bed. For example, "...direct comparison between reading with a light–emitting device and
reading a printed book and the consequences of sleep." (Beres 4) This study ran for two weeks
straight and included twelve participants who read on an iPad for four hours before bed for five days
straight and then paper books for four hours straight before bed for five days. The outcome was
foreseeable. Therefore, it was tremendously easier

Impact of Cell Phones
The usage of cellular phones has become ubiquitous in our American society, illustrating the
growing effects of technology on our advancing society. It is nearly impossible to imagine entering
any public setting without encountering at least one person using a cell phone because this has
become a part of normal, everyday life. The benefits to mobile communication are numerous;
however, many would argue that the detriments are abundant as well. An impartial view of the
effects of cell phone use would still reveal that an evolution in society has been caused by and is still
occurring because of cell phones. New methods of communication inevitably will lead to a change
in social behavior. This paper will explore the changes that have occurred ... Show more content on

Its practitioners utilize portions of symbolic interactionism, fundamentalism, and conflict theory in
their analyses, while still criticizing these other perspectives as being biased toward the male point
of view. Feminists seek to understand a society from the standpoint of women, which places
feminism in the category of macrosociology. Technology possesses the capability to act as a
neutralizing agent between the genders. For this to occur, this technology must be equally available
to all, as cell phones have recently become. As was noted in the discussion on symbolic
interactionism, cell phones were originally only available to an elite few, which feminists would be
quick to note translates to availability to rich men, showing the disparity in gender and in social and
economic status. This expanded availability has allowed cell phones to "create a new aspect in
which all human beings are equal, i.e. irrespective of age, gender, cultural background, wealth,
income or hierarchical position." (Katz and Sugiyama) The availability of cell phones may have
increased, however, there are still limits. Technology continues to grow, and not all have access to
the newest appurtenances, so the inequality persists. Like our other core infrastructures –– roads and
bridges, the electric power grid, the phone system –– the wired and wireless network is being built

Disadvantages Of Cell Phones
Cell phones have become a shield where individuals can hide behind when they are trying to avoid
human interaction. Thus, there is a sense of comfort when one is holding their phone. This becomes
troublesome as it takes away from personal connections that could have otherwise been made when
one puts down their phone (Lepp, Li, & Barkley, 2016, p. 407). However, there are times where cell
phones can be beneficial for maintaining relationships, such as when one cannot meet face–to–face
and when one does not have the confidence or language skills to make plans with someone unless
done behind a screen (Pierce, 2009, p. 1368; Conti–Ramsden, Durkin, & Simkin, 2010, p. 197). It is
important to note, that throughout my observations, especially while memoing and coding I
discovered that cell phones were more of a barrier than an opportunity to establish and strengthen
relationships. Additionally, the data I found at the University of Windsor in the CAW cafeteria very
much resembled two scholarly journal articles: Social Anxiety and Technology and Mobile Voice
Communication and Loneliness, which made me appreciate not only the time and effort that was
taken to publish these articles, but also my own research experience. In sum, I hope that my work
emphasizes the influence that smartphones have in regards to human contact. Based on my
memoing and coding I found that cell phones have their advantages as well as their disadvantages
when it comes to human interactions. For instance, in

The Debate Of Cell Phones
The Great Debate of Cell Phones
Technology has advanced over the years, causing our lifestyle to change drastically and head down a
new path. With these advances in technology, the cell phone appeared and has evolved throughout
time. The cell phone has become a necessity to many. All ages use this mobile device for either
personal or business use. Higgins states that the amount of cell phones active has increased from
"one billion in 2000 to 6 billion." Although cell phones play an important role in the lives of many,
the negative possibilities could cause destruction to our society. The cell phone has transformed over
the years, changing from a bulky phone to a compact device containing the capabilities of a
computer. According to Russell Ware, a cell phone is "any portable telephone which uses cellular
network technology to make and receive calls." A cell phone works through a maze of cellular
towers that cross the world. This connects mobile devices that allow texting and calling between two
cellular devices. Motorola produced the first commercially available cell phone which officially
went on sale in 1984 (Ware). This cell phone was called the DynaTAC 8000x which cost an extreme
amount of money and only contained a battery of 30 minutes (Ware). Since this first masterpiece,
the cell phone has advanced and developed into an entirely new object. Cell phones today contain
the ability to text, call, use the internet, play games, and store files (Cell Phone). Due to

Cell Phones are Great Tools
Introduction
In this modern age, cell phones are at everyone's fingertips. Connecting with people just a tap away.
Cell phones contain so many features that make these devices excellent tools for performing simple
tasks of daily living.
Education
First, cell phones are great tools to use at school for educational purposes. Most kids in school own a
cell phone. So, teachers can have the students use their phones instead of transporting classes to the
computer lab and avoid having to waste time logging into the desktops. In addition, the students can
download Google Docs for free sign in and/or create a g–mail account onto the smartphones. This

Today, the cameras on smartphones are just as good, because insurance companies like: Allstate and
Progressive use the cameras on smartphones to snap a picture of the damage from the accident,
which these companies say it's a faster process to receive claims. That way, the customer can receive
money to pay for the damage. All kinds of phones have cameras up to 12 megapixels or more which
also shoots in HD. Cell phones are impressive tools for picture taking anytime and anyplace.
New Paying Method
Last, cell phones are sufficient tools for being able to easily pay for items people need or want every
day. On cellular devices, technological companies like Apple and Samsung have developed systems
called Apple Pay and Samsung Pay. Both services allow consumers to put debit cards, credit cards,
coupons, gift cards, and boarding passes on their phone. This is more reliable than a credit card with
a chip, because with this system the cashier can just scan the phone screen and the consumer can use
a password or the built–in Touch I.D. on the phone to clarify it's the consumer's card. To continue,
this can save paper due to online coupons rather than cutting out coupons. The buyer will never lose
the coupon unless the person deletes it off their phone or uses the coupon. Companies such as
Starbucks, Chick–Fil–A, and Panera Bread have created free apps where people can order their food
or drinks on an app connected to a credit or debit card. These apps also

Background of Topic Cell phones date back to as early as the 1970's. The first cell phone was
invented by Martin Cooper in 1973 (Anjarwalla, 2010). Cooper and his company created this device
to make talking on the phone easier, by making the phone wireless. Now, more than 40 years later
there are over 10 major cell phone networks and over 1,000 different designs of cell phones. The
cell phone has evolved greatly over the years, starting from a very bulky brick shape to a slick 8
inch touch screen cell phone. "Approximately three quarters of the world's population now has
access to a mobile phone, according to a new study from the World Bank" (Fitzpatrick, 2012). Even
kids starting at a young age of seven have cell phones. Cell phones are no longer just used for
making phone calls. They are also used for texting, sending a picture, updating a status on twitter,
etc. Cell phones make it easier to do pretty much everything. As times goes on, the more things the
cell phone can perform. It wasn't too long ago, when the first IPhone was released. In 2006, the all
touchscreen smartphone open the door for many phones. Now the top phones being used in the U.S

1) Sleeping disorder :Most of the teens keep their smart phones nearby while sleeping to respond to
calls and texts . They feel pressurized to remain reachable around the clock. It leads to sleep
interruption and disruption. Teens also become irritable when they are sleep deprived. 2) Accidents:
Teens are more likely to respond to calls, text while driving, and riding than adults. They talk and
text on the phone without realizing that it can cost their lives. Even the U.S. Government Website
for Distracted Driving has proven that traffic crashes are the leading cause of death in teens. 3)
Increases Anxiety: Relying on texting as a primary mode of communication can increase anxiety in
teens. Texting is instantly gratifying, but it also produces anxiety. The instant reply by the friend can
bring joy and elation. But in case of delayed response or no response, this same pleasure turns into
disappointment. 4) Cancer: Research shows that electromagnetic radiation emitted by mobile phones
get absorbed in the tissues when we hold the phone for longer times. The nervous systems of teens
are still developing and have a greater risk of developing brain cancer from cell phones than adults.
Cell Phone Safety For Teens: Cell phones are not going anywhere, at least no anytime soon. So you
need to teach your teens about mobile phone safety and to use it responsibly. They also need to have
agreed boundaries for mobile phone usage. Here are some ways to avoid negative effects of cell

Cell phones are also a big distraction to your instructor, classmates, and yourself. If you are in class
and your instructor is teaching the material to the class that is needed for an exam, you can miss out
on what is being taught because you are so busy texting. Surfing the internet and browsing through
your social media can also be a distraction during class. At some time of the day, we tend to get
bored and only way to connect to the outside world is through social media. While sitting in class
waiting for class to start we get on Facebook, Snapchat, or Instagram a lot to pass time. Most people
have become so addicted to social media, we are so worried about what our friends and family are
doing which causes you to miss study material. Another way your cell phone can be a distraction is
from making noises in class and interrupting the teacher from teaching. If the class was taking a test
and your phone is going off from text messaging and phone calls it can intervene with students
around you taking the test. In result, this can lead to your teacher failing you as well. During the
testing time, we all know that sometimes a test can get very hard. All of us want to pass but
sometimes we don't always do what it takes to be prepared for a test. Being able to have easy access
to your cell phone in class makes it easy to cheat on a test. Just knowing that you can cheat with
your cell phone in class will make you more susceptible to cheating. According to Kevin M.

The Necessity Of Cell Phone
"Cell phones", when many people hear these words, they think of a talking device, right? Well,
they're right to a certain degree, however, a cell phone is so much more than just that and they don't
even realize it. Instead of thinking of a phone as a type of device, people everywhere should realize
what it really is, a necessity. A necessity is something that people have to have in an everyday life.
In today's society, cell phones are used every single day, all around the world. They have became a
very important aspect in lives, and to make it throughout each day, citizens have to have a cell
phone. Phones are used for school, work, money, safety, and so much more. Cell phones make
things quick and they're convenient. A cell phone is definitely a "have to have" in life today. They
are used for essentially everything. It's remarkably more than just a phone, it's a protection,
communication, and an entertainment device all in one. The world is a scary place, for both a
tennager and a parent. For a parent, never knowing when an accident might happen or where their
child is at causes a lot of stress, and for a young teenager just being alone is intimidating enough.
How are people supposed to stay safe? Having a cell phone fixes those problems and fears. People
don't have to be worried or scared because, with a phone there is always protection. There is access
to 911, even in places that there is no service. Also, not knowing directions can be very stressful a

The Dangers Of Cell Phones
The Dangers of Cell Phones Are cell phone dangerous? Are they a distraction? The answer to both
those questions is Yes! Cell phones have advanced greatly since the turn of the century. With the
advancement of cellular technology cell phones have become a staple in our every day lives. Have
they become a dangerous distraction? Our kids are spending more time with the cell phones than
their families and friends. Cell phones have been a major factor in 52% of car accidents from 2009
to 2011. With the advancement of cellular technology cell phones have become miniaturized
transportable computers. With one handheld device you can now send: Emails, text messages, phone
calls and leave voice mails. It used to take multiple devices to accomplish these actions. To check
any missed calls you would have had to wait until the end of the day when you got home to see any
missed calls or voicemails. Now you don't even have to miss a call, your cell phone can literally go
with you almost anywhere. Cell phones are a major distraction, however they do have some good
qualities. They keep people and their worked linked at all times. Cell phones also keep parents and
their children connected. There's no more wondering where your children are. With a simple call to
their phone you no know at the touch of a button. With all the connectivity cell phones provide us in
our day–to–day lives has it become too important in a family? Sure cell phones keep parents and

Are Phones As Dirty As Door Handles?
Sophie Rickey Bio 104 911
Introduction: Humans tend to not realize how much bacteria we come into contact with every single
day. Today, humans are constantly connected to their cell phones and take them everywhere. Phones
harbor a ridiculous amount of bacteria when not cleaned correctly and frequently. Phones can even
be home to dangerous diseases like MRSA and skin infections (South University 2013). Everyday,
we humans, take our phones everywhere, even into places like bathrooms. We tend to not care for
our phones and clean them as well as they should be cleaned. The overuse of phones and the
constant contact with people causes it to now be the topic of conversation for the spread of harmful
bacteria and disease. It has come into recent conversation that phones could contain more ... Show

The bacteria colonies collected from the phones ended up being 60% more than the bacteria
colonies collected on the door know dish. Phones are incredibly dirty, more so than people would
ever expect. The results gathered are not surprising due to the fact that phones are taken to more
places filled with more chances for the exposure to bacteria. The London School of Hygiene &
Tropical Medicine at Queen Mary, University of London discovered that 17% of phones are
contaminated with fecal matter due to lack of hand washing after going to the bathroom (2011). Our
study could have had some human errors such as bacteria already on some of the dishes, our choice
of phones and door knobs and incorrect counting of bacteria colonies. There could be more research
done by switching up with door knobs you test and the gender of the cell phone owner. You could
also test the phones of people based on their profession to see if certain jobs indicate people with
cleaner phones. The results of this experiment provided a conclusive answer to our original
hypothesis which was thus supported. Literature

The Problem Of Cell Phones
A question of my interest is are individuals becoming more attached to their cell phone? Cellphones
in the past were more simple, where in the past would serve as a tool to use in case of an emergency,
whether if it was to make a phone call if stranded somewhere or simply to make calls to family or
friends. Now cell phones have evolved to have a multitude of uses now as they have the internet,
different applications to meet the individual's entertainment/needs (dating apps, school apps, news
apps, social media apps, music apps, inspirational quotes apps, and exercise apps to name a few, and
the list goes on), navigation, photo storage, and camera. Therefore, a person is always connected to
social life and the world. What people use to only do from a laptop, is no longer the case. Cell

Cell Phones In Texas
Vehicle crashes happen almost every day because of cell phones and has become an epidemic that is
sweeping our nation. Whether, drivers think they are cautious drivers and can multitask; they are
wrong. No one is a safe motorist because we are all guilty of something; it can be tuning the radio,
eating and drinking, or even worse texting and talking on the phone. Everyone has a cellular device
because it is a vital instrument that we all need for communicating. Cell phones can be user friendly,
mostly and can help people out, but it can also be a deadly piece of technology. In the 84th Texas

drivers know how hazardous texting and driving can be is getting the cell phone corporations more
involved when they advertise new phones. Currently, one of the major cell phone carriers, AT&T,
are more mindful of this crucial situation and took on the issue very seriously. They took a step
forward and launched a campaign "It Can Wait" to provide educational information, emotional

driving behind the wheel." I just want the people to realize how powerful these videos are, and no

Are Cell Phones Destroying a Generation? The onset of cell phones has had a great impact in the
modern society, and especially the millennials or the teens, and as such it has led to the destruction
of a generation. It is apparent that what researchers call the iGen, people born between the year 1995
and the year 2012, depend greatly on their cell phones and their well–being majorly depends on
their cell phones (Twenge 188). Researchers also prove that the iGen value their cell phones more

that was conducted by the Monitoring the Future survey which paints a clear picture about screen–

Millennials unhappier that their predecessors, and this is apparent from the fact that all screen
activities and links to less happiness and all the non–screen activities are linked to more happiness
(Chatterjee 82). Researchers also posit that the eighth–graders that spend 10 or more hours per week
on social media tend to be 56 percent more likely to confirm that they are unhappy compared to
those that spend less time on social media. The case is different when the effect of the twelfth–grade
data is examined as there is realized similar levels of happiness disregarding the fact that they might

A wise man ,Kenny Chesney, once said, "My mind is constantly going. For me to completely relax,
I gotta get rid of my cell phone." There are advantages and disadvantages with having a cell phone.
People should take advantage of speaking on the phone because, the more they talk, the more people
know how to talk and the better their communication skills become. Many parents can be less

When purchasing a cell phone you have two basic options that are to be considered, prepaid and

disadvantages and most people will try one if not both by their early twenties. When doing your
research on which is best for you it's important to recognize the good and bad that comes along with
each. Here are the pros and cons of buying a prepaid versus a contract phone that you should
consider before taking the plunge. Contract Cellphone Pros Rates–With most cellular carriers, when

This could leave you in an extremely unfortunate situation for a myriad of reasons especially if your
cell phone is the only phone you have in your household. Prepaid Cellphone Pros Freedom– One of
the greatest things about prepaid cellphones is the freedom of no contact. You can change your
service at any time or choose to just stop it all together. Price– Another advantage to these phones is
the often low end cost. When you factor the cost of a new phone, add a plan, and tack on service
fees a cell phone can become a very expensive venture. Often the phones are inexpensive, the plans
are affordable, and even unlimited options are much cheaper than their contracted counterparts.
Make Your Own Rules– The amount you pay per month is completely decided by you and how
much you use your cell phone. Even better, when you fail to use the credit on your phone it will
carry over to the next month and in most cases does not expire. This make prepaid phones very
flexible and easy to use without having to micromanage your actions or worry about the dreaded

The impact of mobile technology on people's lives Posted on April 27, 2012 by guirong zhang One
of the priority tasks of the Literary High Street project is to allow users access the website primarily
with mobile devices such as tablets and smartphones. Except of developing a unique mobile
experience for users, it drives me to start exploring the influences of mobile technology to human's
lives as it is being so widely used in modern society. As we all know, the world is being connected

Unlike the cell phone in1995, cell phone can do no more than just make a phone call. People can use
it surf the Internet, play games, read e–books, take photos and videos, and so on. In addition, the
mobile technology also favors people's work a lot. People do not have to work at offices. They don't
have to worry about the unexpected work problems occurred during their vacation since they can
deal with it by the mobile devices distantly. Another application on work is the use of CRM system.
By viewing customers' information on the tablets or mobile phones, sales can access customers'
information within a limited time, such as on their way to see customers so that they can provide
thoughtful services (Business link, 2012). Finally, mobile technology makes life easier as well. In
the past, you could see most tourists hold a map on the street, while they use the GPS and even tour
guide applications instead of it nowadays. Besides, people can get the weather information anytime
they want through the mobile devices rather than only through the newspaper, radio and TV.
Generally speaking, with the advanced mobile technology, people benefit a lot from it. However,
from another point of view, the development of the mobile technology also has its negative side.

the brain which leads to having a deadly threat not only towards yourself but others too. There are
major accidents that had been directly caused by cell phones, which leads to multitasking and brain
distractions. In fact, distractions while driving are a leading cause of traffic accidents(Gerdes 106).
In 2013, a train crash had occurred in Spain because the train driver became distracted while using a
cell phone leading to deadly consequences.(Stewart). In another case that happened in Chicago in
2011, a man was severely injured when he was rear–ended by another driver that was talking on his

has suffered severe head injuries and spinal trauma and still with constant pain after two years,"

Taylor Sauer after posting a message on Facebook was killed moments after, in a car accident. The
message read: "I can't discuss this now. Driving and Facebook is not safe! Haha!"(Gerdes 36). This
shows the reason why cell phones can become a deadly threat is that people can be addicted towards
it, during stop lights when text messages appear, also receiving phone calls driving through the

The Dangers Of Cell Phones
"Just one more minute," all smart phone owners have told themselves as they ignore their daily
tasks. Cell phones have made everyone, just a click away. These tools have become a part of our
daily lives whether we want it or not. We are becoming attached to our cell phones. Everyone uses
smartphone on a daily basis, but when is it too much. The amount of time spent on cell phones is
crazy high. In "U.S. Consumers Now Spend 5 Hours per Day on Mobile Devices" Sarah Perez
explains that "We're up to 5 hours a day on our mobile devices". That is crazy high that is almost
half of the day. With that much time on a cell phone, we could be doing so much more with our
time. For example, face to face communication, going outside and enjoying the outdoors, learning
something new, work on a hobby that doesn't involve a screen. Students spend six to eight hours at
school every day out of a fourteen hour day, and five on phones. That leaves one to three hours for
their other activities, including extracurricular and school work. There isn't a lot of time in there for
interaction to other people or being with your family, but there is time for you and your cell phone.
Cell phones are highly addictive, even like a drug. In the 2016 article "Understanding Cell Phone
Addiction" Lena Firestone explains how "Each of these little rewards, such as texts, likes, social
media updates, triggers a dopamine release. Dopamine controls the pleasure centers in our brain."

their setting. From that point, the driver is in a technical state of blindness to oncoming traffic,

extensively important in the elucidation of the issues caused by cellular uses. Scientists have been
able to deduce that texting while driving creates an imminent vulnerability. According to Ioannis

When looking at technology in families, parents are often not the focus of research and most studies
examine the children. However, with parents being part of a child's microsystem which directly
effects their environment it seems crucial to also look how parents use technology. Technology use
in parents could potentially have the ability to shape their child's use of technology and how they
view technology.
In the introduction it was mentioned about how the percentage of adults ages 18–29 had a high
percentage of cell phone use and smartphone ownership. However, when looking at age groups who
own a smart phone ownership goes down with age. The same trend applies when just looking at cell
phone ownership without smartphone capabilities. This means that the younger a parent is, the more
likely it will be that they own a cell phone or a smart phone (Anderson, 2015). In this modern day
and age cell phones are easy to carry and can be very cheap to buy. Cellphones are an easy and
efficient way for parents to keep in touch with their children. A study conducted in 2009 looked at
parents and their children. The study questioned how parents use technology and children's
truthfulness in talking to their parents on the phone. It was discovered in this study that parents used
their technology as a way to parent by giving reminders, increase their own personal knowledge
about their child's whereabouts, and to control behaviors by telling them to return home (Weisskirch,

Wireless Plan is Preferred? There are three basic types of wireless cell phone plans available by
nearly every wireless phone company. These plans are single line plans, family plans and no
contract plans. Each has their own advantages and disadvantages in various scenarios, but it's
important for every shopper to solidify which plan would be most preferred to them. Single line
plans are meant purely for use in one phone only. This is the best route for people who don't have
spouses or children who may want their phones on the plan as well. Single line plans are much
cheaper than family plans since they only cover one device. Family plans are designed to cover

Family plans are more expensive than single line plans, but it's a much better option for people who

Will one phone call to your grandmother be the last phone call that you ever make, or will you get
cancer from the radioactivity that cell phones emit? Many citizens have become concerned that cell

cause formation of cancerous and noncancerous tumors. (Cellular Telephones) Cell Phones generate

by, and it all started with a mobile phone company and an astute inventor, Martin Cooper. Martin
Cooper was the first person to formulate a cell phone with his team, Motorola; cell phones have
changed a ton through the years with the advancement of technology, and cell phones have impacted
our lives greatly. Martin Cooper was the first person to make a mobile phone with his team

Therefore, Martin Cooper and Motorola were the inventors of the first mobile phone, DynaTAC, or,
as known as, "The Brick." After Motorola's creation of the DynaTAC, other companies were
inspired to create other versions of the mobile phone, and new networks for the phone. "Companies

Cell Phones Worst

  • 1. Cell Phones Worst Over the ages of time, there has been a questionable invention, several considered to be a disaster, but the worst by far is the cell phone. A cell phone is not the worst because it doesn't always work or its design, but rather it provokes problems with distractions, is ruining communication, and contributes to cyber–bullying. Though viewed a cellphone is a helpful tool that most people have access to, it has produced more negative effects on our health and well–being rather than improved ourselves, and our society. Schools enforce strict rules about the use of cell phones for the main reason such as students not paying attention during class. Several students believed that just because they had the sound on their phones disabled that it doesn't affect anyone's learning experience, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Most people know it's illegal to text and drive and that it's dangerous. Yet texting, and driving has become a normal type of behavior, doctor Seiler survey found that passenger's that ride with friends or family members that text and drive without anything going wrong are more likely to text and drive as well. Drivers that are deciding to break the law are also affecting their passengers to engage in this type of risky behaviors. Quisenberry states in his article that texting while driving actually impairs a driver more than a person under the influence while driving. The center of disease control estimates that nine people die every day because of distracted driving and just a little over a thousand are injured. Many cell phone companies have joined "It Can Wait" campaigns such as AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, and T–Mobile to advise and teach young driver the serious consequences of driving while distracted by making a pledge not to text email, or surf the web while being behind of the wheel (Quisenberry). April is "Distracted Driving Month", but despite the countless widespread of campaigns urging people ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 3. Eliminating Cell Phones The county is thinking about eliminating cell phones from all schools. Eliminating cell phones is a wonderful idea. Students should not be allowed to use cell phones in school because they are a distraction, they can lead to bullying, and students are more likely to cheat. Firstly, cell phones are a huge distraction. When a student has their cell phone on their desk or in their pocket, they are more likely to pick it up and use it. When using the cell phone not only is that student distracted, it causes the other students around them to become distracted as well. A student who is on their phone while the teacher is giving instructions or talking about a quiz or test, is less likely to succeed then a student who is actively paying attention. ... So that means, while in school, students can use social media however they please. Some students might use that as a way to bully someone in their class without saying it aloud,by texting or posting it. Also, a student might get bullied for not having a phone or not having the "right" phone. Lastly, students can use their phones as an easy way to cheat. While there are many ways to cheat, using your phone might be one of the easier and faster ways. Also, if the student gets caught the will try to make up excuses for why they were on their phone. Therefore, the county should eliminate all cell phones from schools. Students should not be allowed to use cell phones in school because they are a distraction, they can lead to bullying, and students are more likely to cheat. • 5. The Evolution Of Cell Phones The beginning of the era of mobile technology started forty years ago with the first call from a cell phone. Martin Cooper, vice president of Motorola, walked out of a Manhattan building and made the first cellular network call from a DynaTAC phone. The first call was made to Bell Labs, Motorola's largest competitor in the mobile marketing business. (Cheng, 2013) Cooper's phone call started a trend in which technology constantly evolves. From the Motorola DynaTAC to the iPhone 5S, the mobile phone has evolved since the large, bulky device made in 1973. The very first cell phone was released to the public in 1977, and two thousand people were given free trials of the new technology. These cell phones did not have the capability to text or play apps. These devices were simply made for calling. (History of Cell Phones, 2011) The phones were approximately four times the size of the current iPhone, yet lacked almost all the features today's cell phones boast. Cell phones were in high demand with only one company currently making the devices. By 1988, there were fifty–four different places in the United States where cell phones were able to be purchased. (History of Cell Phones, 2011) Entering into the ninety's, cell phones obtained new features. In 1992, the first commercial text message was sent form a cell phone. The message contained one phrase, "LOL." Two years later, Tetris was made available to play on cell phones, becoming the first game to ever be played on a phone. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 7. Mobile Phone And Modern Cell Phone Research Question Over years technology has expanded dramatically. The amount of high level technology that is around us today in popular culture is massive. Things such as ipads, computers, tvs, ipods, and especially cell phones are used 24/7. Since 1876, when Alexander Graham Bell invented the first phone, it was a major success in technology. People could finally communicate with each other on the phone without actually having to see the person. The invention was great and really expanded the world with the telephone. Humans love to socialize. Before the telephone was invented people had to get up and actually physically talk to the person. However, as time went on phones have expanded. Home phones led to cell phones and now we have all the iphones. Are we getting more sociable with the resource we have in the cell phone? Not just the physical aspect of the phone but all the things that apply on the phone such as all the social media apps like twitter, facebook, and instagram that are all accessible on the phone. The research study that i want to analyze is does the modern day cell phone make people less physically social. Method In order to test this theory out I first think it's important to define what sociable means. Sociable can be taken in different ways so i would like to clarify specifically for this experiment. Socialization is the process by which a living organism is changed into a person and a social human being. It is with the help of this process that ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 9. The And Cons Of Cell Phones When deciding to give your teen a cell phone it's imperative that you research the pro's and cons of adolescents having cell phones. With this information, you can allow your teen to be more efficient and hopefully dodge the 7 mishaps that most teens fall into when operating a cell phone. When a child hits their teen years they become more involved with their friends than they do their family. So, we as parents find that giving them a cell phone helps to modify their whereabouts and gives us peace of mind knowing we can always get a hold of them and vise versa. Since our teens are so focused on friends, having a cell phone has been a useful tool in getting the instant gratitude that they are looking for. Unfortunately, studies have shown there are many medical issues that will affect teens in their future years as adults. Below is a list of the seven mishaps with a brief description. 1. Tendonitis: Many people who use a cell phone on a regular basis text daily; this is a new way to communicate. By texting daily we will see more and more individuals with tendonitis in their hands, which will cause arthritis and carpal tunnel. 2. Stress: Having a cell phone can be stressful because many teens are very vulnerable and it's important to them to have friends and to be able to fit in with their peers. They want instant answers, instant responses. Having a cell phone causes teens to be on the phone too much and they may lose their ability to work on anything ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 11. Cell Phone Cloning CELL PHONE CLONING Abstract You might have read news of the cloning of sheep or cattle with amused interest. But how would you feel if somebody `cloned' your mobile phone? Technology is finally rearing up its dark side. Along with the proliferation of technological innovations, this era also marks the birth of the new–age IT criminals in a big way, with the latest technology fraud being cell phone cloning. Cell phone cloning is a technique wherein security data from one cell phone is transferred into another phone. The other cell phone becomes the exact replica of the original cell phone like a clone. As a result, while calls can be made from both phones, only the original is billed. Though communication channels are ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The other cell phone becomes the exact replica of the original cell phone like a clone. As a result, while calls can be made from both phones, only the original is billed. Cloning occurs most frequently in areas of high cell phone usage –– valet parking lots, airports, shopping malls, concert halls, sports stadiums, and high–congestion traffic areas in metropolitan cities. Thus, scanning the airwaves for this data if you wish to clone a phone. By changing ESN and MIN, the cellular carrier will accept the call and bill it to either a wrong account or provide service based on the fact that it is NOT a disconnected receiver. It will also look at the other two components, in order to insure that it is actually a cellular phone and to forward billing information to that carrier. The Station Class Mark can also be changed if you wish to prevent the cellular carrier from determining the type of phone that is placing the call. By providing the cellular tower with a false SCM, the cellular carrier, the FCC, or whoever happens to chase down cellular fraud is often looking for a particular phone which in reality is not the phone they are looking for. • 13. Cell Phones Negatives Cell phones are remarkably distracting when teens need to concentrate. Without the disturbance of phones, teens are able to focus better on academics rather than social media and texting. Despite these adverse circumstances, some people postulate that phones are advantageous when it comes to studying and doing homework. Phones stimulate the brain and are tremendously addictive for teens. Although phones have many of advantages while studying, the negatives overpower the positives. Keeping a cell phone on a nightstand may not seem like a massive deal, but technology affects teens sleep negatively in more ways than one realizes. Many young teens are compelled to sleep by excessive cell phone use. Reading, texting, or scrolling through social media from a phone or tablet before bed not only makes it harder to fall asleep, but also impacts how tired or alert you are the next day. According to new research from Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, the conclusive evidence found, impacts everyone who uses a source of technology before bed. For example, "...direct comparison between reading with a light–emitting device and reading a printed book and the consequences of sleep." (Beres 4) This study ran for two weeks straight and included twelve participants who read on an iPad for four hours before bed for five days straight and then paper books for four hours straight before bed for five days. The outcome was foreseeable. Therefore, it was tremendously easier ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 15. Impact of Cell Phones The usage of cellular phones has become ubiquitous in our American society, illustrating the growing effects of technology on our advancing society. It is nearly impossible to imagine entering any public setting without encountering at least one person using a cell phone because this has become a part of normal, everyday life. The benefits to mobile communication are numerous; however, many would argue that the detriments are abundant as well. An impartial view of the effects of cell phone use would still reveal that an evolution in society has been caused by and is still occurring because of cell phones. New methods of communication inevitably will lead to a change in social behavior. This paper will explore the changes that have occurred ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Its practitioners utilize portions of symbolic interactionism, fundamentalism, and conflict theory in their analyses, while still criticizing these other perspectives as being biased toward the male point of view. Feminists seek to understand a society from the standpoint of women, which places feminism in the category of macrosociology. Technology possesses the capability to act as a neutralizing agent between the genders. For this to occur, this technology must be equally available to all, as cell phones have recently become. As was noted in the discussion on symbolic interactionism, cell phones were originally only available to an elite few, which feminists would be quick to note translates to availability to rich men, showing the disparity in gender and in social and economic status. This expanded availability has allowed cell phones to "create a new aspect in which all human beings are equal, i.e. irrespective of age, gender, cultural background, wealth, income or hierarchical position." (Katz and Sugiyama) The availability of cell phones may have increased, however, there are still limits. Technology continues to grow, and not all have access to the newest appurtenances, so the inequality persists. Like our other core infrastructures –– roads and bridges, the electric power grid, the phone system –– the wired and wireless network is being built ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 17. Disadvantages Of Cell Phones Cell phones have become a shield where individuals can hide behind when they are trying to avoid human interaction. Thus, there is a sense of comfort when one is holding their phone. This becomes troublesome as it takes away from personal connections that could have otherwise been made when one puts down their phone (Lepp, Li, & Barkley, 2016, p. 407). However, there are times where cell phones can be beneficial for maintaining relationships, such as when one cannot meet face–to–face and when one does not have the confidence or language skills to make plans with someone unless done behind a screen (Pierce, 2009, p. 1368; Conti–Ramsden, Durkin, & Simkin, 2010, p. 197). It is important to note, that throughout my observations, especially while memoing and coding I discovered that cell phones were more of a barrier than an opportunity to establish and strengthen relationships. Additionally, the data I found at the University of Windsor in the CAW cafeteria very much resembled two scholarly journal articles: Social Anxiety and Technology and Mobile Voice Communication and Loneliness, which made me appreciate not only the time and effort that was taken to publish these articles, but also my own research experience. In sum, I hope that my work emphasizes the influence that smartphones have in regards to human contact. Based on my memoing and coding I found that cell phones have their advantages as well as their disadvantages when it comes to human interactions. For instance, in ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 19. The Debate Of Cell Phones The Great Debate of Cell Phones Technology has advanced over the years, causing our lifestyle to change drastically and head down a new path. With these advances in technology, the cell phone appeared and has evolved throughout time. The cell phone has become a necessity to many. All ages use this mobile device for either personal or business use. Higgins states that the amount of cell phones active has increased from "one billion in 2000 to 6 billion." Although cell phones play an important role in the lives of many, the negative possibilities could cause destruction to our society. The cell phone has transformed over the years, changing from a bulky phone to a compact device containing the capabilities of a computer. According to Russell Ware, a cell phone is "any portable telephone which uses cellular network technology to make and receive calls." A cell phone works through a maze of cellular towers that cross the world. This connects mobile devices that allow texting and calling between two cellular devices. Motorola produced the first commercially available cell phone which officially went on sale in 1984 (Ware). This cell phone was called the DynaTAC 8000x which cost an extreme amount of money and only contained a battery of 30 minutes (Ware). Since this first masterpiece, the cell phone has advanced and developed into an entirely new object. Cell phones today contain the ability to text, call, use the internet, play games, and store files (Cell Phone). Due to ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Cell phones contain so many features that make these devices excellent tools for performing simple tasks of daily living. Education First, cell phones are great tools to use at school for educational purposes. Most kids in school own a cell phone. So, teachers can have the students use their phones instead of transporting classes to the computer lab and avoid having to waste time logging into the desktops. In addition, the students can download Google Docs for free sign in and/or create a g–mail account onto the smartphones. This way, when the teacher wants students to type a paper the ... Today, the cameras on smartphones are just as good, because insurance companies like: Allstate and Progressive use the cameras on smartphones to snap a picture of the damage from the accident, which these companies say it's a faster process to receive claims. That way, the customer can receive money to pay for the damage. All kinds of phones have cameras up to 12 megapixels or more which also shoots in HD. Cell phones are impressive tools for picture taking anytime and anyplace. New Paying Method Last, cell phones are sufficient tools for being able to easily pay for items people need or want every day. On cellular devices, technological companies like Apple and Samsung have developed systems called Apple Pay and Samsung Pay. Both services allow consumers to put debit cards, credit cards, coupons, gift cards, and boarding passes on their phone. This is more reliable than a credit card with a chip, because with this system the cashier can just scan the phone screen and the consumer can use a password or the built–in Touch I.D. on the phone to clarify it's the consumer's card. To continue, this can save paper due to online coupons rather than cutting out coupons. The buyer will never lose the coupon unless the person deletes it off their phone or uses the coupon. Companies such as Starbucks, Chick–Fil–A, and Panera Bread have created free apps where people can order their food or drinks on an app connected to a credit or debit card. These apps also ... Cooper and his company created this device to make talking on the phone easier, by making the phone wireless. Now, more than 40 years later there are over 10 major cell phone networks and over 1,000 different designs of cell phones. The cell phone has evolved greatly over the years, starting from a very bulky brick shape to a slick 8 inch touch screen cell phone. "Approximately three quarters of the world's population now has access to a mobile phone, according to a new study from the World Bank" (Fitzpatrick, 2012). Even kids starting at a young age of seven have cell phones. Cell phones are no longer just used for making phone calls. They are also used for texting, sending a picture, updating a status on twitter, etc. Cell phones make it easier to do pretty much everything. As times goes on, the more things the cell phone can perform. It wasn't too long ago, when the first IPhone was released. In 2006, the all touchscreen smartphone open the door for many phones. Cellphones in the past were more simple, where in the past would serve as a tool to use in case of an emergency, whether if it was to make a phone call if stranded somewhere or simply to make calls to family or friends. Now cell phones have evolved to have a multitude of uses now as they have the internet, different applications to meet the individual's entertainment/needs (dating apps, school apps, news apps, social media apps, music apps, inspirational quotes apps, and exercise apps to name a few, and the list goes on), navigation, photo storage, and camera. Therefore, a person is always connected to social life and the world. What people use to only do from a laptop, is no longer the case. Cell phones, for the most part, have taken over laptops, computers, watching the news on TV/reading the newspaper, etc. It seems that cell phones are becoming more of a commodity, where individuals today, cannot seem to live without. • 61. Cell Phones False Cell phones have been taboo until recently. A cell phone can be turned into a tool: calculator, organizer, or even a video recorder. Students with disabilities can have access to tools that aid in learning. Students with attention disorders can stay organized as well as develop higher level thinking skills for all students. One program I have used with my students is voice recorder. This is a great tool that allows students to record class lectures or create their own recordings for assignments. My daughter used this program to submit her choir finals. The final recording is shared with her teacher. This is a great way to utilize cell phones. Students can record in a comfortable setting and take as much time as they need. Cell phones ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 63. Cell Phone Malpractice In 2013, over 420,000 people in the United States were killed or injured in a car accident due to distractions like texting. The use of cell phones has become the most debated issue in driving. Many whom text or call others while driving know that they are endangering not only themselves but others surrounding them. With knowledge of their malpractice, several decide to use their phones anyway, wreaking havoc on our technologically inclined society. Over the last ten years, the role of the cell phone has grown to a necessity. People who don't have access to or don't own cell phones have been severally "handicapped" in the world today. In Layman's terms, three out of every ten accidents in America today are created by a sophomoric ideology that cell phones are a true necessity and must be used 24 hours a day. An estimated 427,154 people were injured or killed by a distraction like cell phones (CONNECTICUT LAW ENFORCEMENT 1). Accidents are caused by the lack of knowledge of their setting. From that point, the driver is in a technical state of blindness to oncoming traffic, pedestrians, and signs. Scientists have been thoroughly engrossed in the phenomena ever since the beginning of the "cell phone era." Neurologists have satisfied their interests by doing a magnetic resonance image (MRI). The discoveries from those magnetic resonance images have been extensively important in the elucidation of the issues caused by cellular uses. Scientists have been able to deduce that texting while driving creates an imminent vulnerability. According to Ioannis Kareklas and Darrel D. Muehling, "Brain activity related to driving decreases by 37% when using a cell phone" (2). The reason for decreased brain activity is based upon one's brain. Multitasking appears to be a simple human task. However, research shows that it is physically impossible for the brain to fully focus on two things at the same time. The amount of brain activity is related to the amount of accidents created. • 67. Mobile Phones And Cell Phones When looking at technology in families, parents are often not the focus of research and most studies examine the children. However, with parents being part of a child's microsystem which directly effects their environment it seems crucial to also look how parents use technology. In the introduction it was mentioned about how the percentage of adults ages 18–29 had a high percentage of cell phone use and smartphone ownership. However, when looking at age groups who own a smart phone ownership goes down with age. The same trend applies when just looking at cell phone ownership without smartphone capabilities. This means that the younger a parent is, the more likely it will be that they own a cell phone or a smart phone (Anderson, 2015). In this modern day and age cell phones are easy to carry and can be very cheap to buy. Cellphones are an easy and efficient way for parents to keep in touch with their children. A study conducted in 2009 looked at parents and their children. The study questioned how parents use technology and children's truthfulness in talking to their parents on the phone. It was discovered in this study that parents used their technology as a way to parent by giving reminders, increase their own personal knowledge about their child's whereabouts, and to control behaviors by telling them to return home (Weisskirch, 2009). EMFs are all around us in any object that has an electrical charge. There are invisible lines of force that surround all wiring and electrical instruments. The strength of these fields varies from indoors to outdoors along with the individual's surrounding environment, which changes from day to day. EMF waves from cell phones challenge the human body's natural electrical frequency by continually penetrating the entire body and disrupting homeostasis within neural transmission.
