VOLKSWAGEN REVISITS FAN FAVORITE WITH THE LAUNCHOF THE 2016
BEETLE DENIM
The special edition Beetle Denim is a contemporary tribute to the 1970s Beetle Jeans model
 Exclusive short-run model, arriving in dealerships in early 2016
 Equipped with 17-inch Heritage wheels and 1.8-liter TSI® engine
 Originalinterior design, including unique seating surfaces and jeans-inspired seat pockets

Denim. Payinghomagetothe 1970s JeansBug,the vehicle revives the richheritage of the Beetle brand,
offeringfans amoderntakeon thisclassic model.
As aspecial editionvehicle,exclusive designelements have beenaddedto the 2,000production units. The
2016Beetle Denim is offered intwo exterior color options—Pure White orStonewashedBlue. The production
runwill be split equally betweenthe twocolors. The convertible tophas beenfinishedin DarkBlue with a
brand newtexturedfabric that resembles denim.
Interior designfeatures include aunique light-blue-and-silver dashpadandjeans-inspiredseat pocketswith
small Beetle tabs in red. The light blue denim-color clothseatingsurfaces also featurewhite piping anddark
blue leatherette accents.
For model year 2016,the vehicle is equippedwithVolkswagen’s new MIB IIinfotainment system, whichoffers
higher resolution,faster processingspeeds,andcrisper graphicsthanever before. A5.0-inchresistive
touchscreendisplaycomeswithahost ofstandardfeatures includingAUX-in, SD cardslots,andaUSB
multimediainterface withiPhone® andiPod® deviceconnectivity,reverse camera display, andBluetooth®
technology for compatible devices.
