ERECTION AND COMMISSINING
Before installing the hoist, ensure that a pit is ready as per drawing.
Foundation drawings attached below. If the soil is loose type, ensure
that the sides are shored, to prevent the pit from collapsing.
8. INSTRUCTIONS FOR ERECTION
 Measure the distance from wall to mast center.
 This distance is varying and depends on site conditions.
 Place the bottom mast of tower structure in the pit with a
bottom pulley in such a way that it would be above ground
level on the side perpendicular to the building, and opposite of
the mixer, Rear parts of the structure should be touching the
pit side. Bolt or nail down the plate to the foundation of the pit
either with foundation bolts. If floor is throughout made of
RCC then fastening is done with anchor fastener. The wire rope
pulley fitted on the tower structure should be towards the
WINCH ASSEMBLY and above the pit level, to avoid the
touching of wire rope to the ground.
 After the bottom mast is fixed, place the first section of the
tower on top of it and fasten it. Care should be taken to
maintain the PLUMB of the tower. It should be ensured that
proper alignment is maintained and there should be no GAP
between matching tower structures. Continue this process with
increasing height of tower and till the required height is
obtained. If plumb is not maintained then there is possibility of
tilting of tower. Then after tighten the foundation bolt.
 Place twin top pulley on the tower structure at the desired
height with the hook side facing towards inside of the pit.
 Dismantle the “Guide rollers” and platform touch the tower
structure. Now Assemble “Front bottom guide roller assembly”
at left & right bottom side and fasten it. Assemble “Tower
support front pin” and fasten it. Assemble 4 nos. “Side guide
roller assembly at top & bottom towards left & right side.

back guide roller assembly such that the tower is engaged
between the Top, bottom and back Rollers. Guide roller pin
“locating hole” which is located on hex should be on top or
bottom side for all rollers.
12
 Platform and bucket assembly can be fitted to tower with 2
ways. It can be fitted from bottom side of tower and top side of
tower.
 Locate the winch as shown in the GA shown in this manual.
Keep the winch as far away as possible from the pit and never
less than 15 FEET. Distance of 10m between tower and winch
must be maintained. Release the brake of the “Winch
Assembly”. Pull the wire rope out and pass it through the
“Bottom Pulley” of the tower followed by “Top Pulley” of the
tower, pulley of “Channel Platform” , bolt it with the hook
