This document discusses flipped learning and its benefits. Flipped learning shifts classroom time from passive lectures to active learning activities. Students learn content from video lectures at home, then apply concepts in class. This allows more class time for problem-solving, discussions, and feedback. Benefits include students having more control over pacing, promoting collaboration, and developing independent learning skills. The author conducted an experiment using a video lesson they created, which resulted in improved student understanding and performance on exercises. Suggestions for implementing flipped learning include gradually introducing it and not requiring video lectures.

Flipped Learning shifts the classroom from
passive to active learning, focusing on
higher order thinking skills such as
evaluating, analysing, and creating to
engage students in learning. The approach
relies on understanding the difference
between information and knowledge
acquisition, providing students with active
learning possibilities

4. Teachers upload
easy-to-learn
material (usually in
video format) so that
students learn the
lesson on their own.,
the teacher constantly
monitors the students,
comments and
evaluates their work.
How does it work?

Instead of homework,
students watch short
video lectures online

pass theoretical
material,
during the lessons
they apply key

5. The Golden Rules of Flipping
V
1.
The in-class learning
environments are highly
structured(often planned
down to the minute)
2.
The in-class activities involve a
significant amount of quizzing,
problem solving and other
active learning activities , forcing
students to apply the material
learned outside of class
3.
Students are heavily
incentivized through grading,
in-class activities, and
instructor expectations to
complete out-of-class work
and attend in-person meetings
6. Benefits of Flipped Learning
VI
Students have more control of
information
It promotes student-centered
learning and collaboration
Lessons and content are more
accessible outside the class
Access=easier for parents to see
what's going on

7. Research Results
VII
in just a year, the number of those who failed
the exam in English decreased from 52% to
19%, in mathematics — from 44% to 13%, and in
natural sciences — from 41% to 19%;
the share of graduates enrolled in universities
increased from 63% to 80%.

8. Experiment
VIII
Then I made my own video lesson on English
subject. Firstly, I talked to the teacher who
teaches seventh grades, to give me a topic for
video lesson. The teacher gave me a topic for
my video lesson. Topic was very easy so it took
only two days to make this video. It was 7
minutes long. After a day, I showed this video
lesson for seventh classes for a few times,
because several students didn’t understood the
lesson at once. Then in class, they did an
exercises. Teacher was very grateful and the
result was unbelievable. The goal is for students
to learn more authentically by doing exercises
in class time. 8

"I have studied English in SDU, with
help of the Khan Academy. There is a
lot of video lessons not only english,
now I am using this method for my
students too. Our faculty members
are utilizing the lecture capacity
technology with great success, and
now our students requesting more
usage of lecture capture in and out
of the classroom"

"The Flipped teaching model
allowed me to learn at my own
pace and made a huge impact
on my education. Different and
easy way of explaining new
topics. I also used it for myself
too. I think it's very useful source
of knowledge"
'"Establishing guidelines for
teachers" use of the flipped
classroom is extremely
important so the idea is not
abused not forgotten about. A
great way to begin school wide
implementation is to require a
flipped lesson once a month and
then examine the effect".
11. Conclusion
XI
The flipped classroom is a strategic direction
that helps higher education meet the
expectations of today’s students while
optimizing teaching and classroom resources.
The blended learning approach of the flipped
classroom can be leveraged for both individual
courses and on an organizational level to
improve instructional delivery and enhance
student achievement and satisfaction.

12. Suggestions
XII
"Flipped classroom" should be introduced gradually.
No need to manually record video lectures.
Students will not be motivated immediately.
The textbook remains a source of information.
Flipped learning is not a panacea.
