Hello! my name is Lilit and today I shall tell you about my school. I
go to Mkhitar Sebastatsi Educational complex. My school is the
Eastern school. It is situated in Bangladesh. My school is very big
and nice. I think my school is the best. I love it very much. We have
big classrooms and a nice yard. There are many flowers and trees
around the school. We have a dog who lives in the schoolyard. Her
name is Liza. I love her very much.
Mkhitar Sebastatsi Educational complex was founded in 1989. The
school is named after Mkhitar Sebastatsi, because it looks like an
abbey and teachers are like abbots. The environment looks like the
one in Mekhitarist Order.
Mkhitar Sebastatsi was born in 1676 and he was an Armenian
Catholic monk who founded the Mekhitarist Order. The Mekhitarist
Order is located on San Lazzaro island near Venice. The Armenian
historian Stepanos Nazarian has described him as the
«second Mesrop Mashtots». His real name is Manuk.

I like my educational complex very much, especifically our school. I like our
assembly in the morning and the warm atmosphere which is inside our school.
I like my teachers very much. I am glad that I have an opportunity to choose
some subject activities.
I like our swimming pool and winter skating rink. Unlike other schools our
educational complex has its inside swimming pool which gives us a chance to
have a lesson of swimming even in cold weather. It is situated in the western
part of the school. Soon we will have it in the Easter part of our school which is
being built now. The educational complex also has a wonderful sports ground,
halls where we can do our sports activity lessons. I like the celebrations and
rituals which take place in our school. I also like our projects especially
«Antivirus Komitas».
I like our educational trips and educational camps which make our
educational process more interesting. I really like our educational complex very
much. I am proud of my being a Sebastian. I want our educational complex to
get bigger and be improved and to be a good example for schools.

4.  Nare Ghazaryan
I learn at Eastern school of Mekhitar Sebastatsi educational complex. I like my school. It is very
big. My teachers are kind. There are many classrooms in my school. In every classroom there are
computers, plants, many tables and chairs. We try to make our school more beautiful and
comfortable, but I don’t like one thing. I don’t like my school’s partitions from glass. They are
very dangerous.
My school is named after Mechitar of Sebaste, in 1989. First of all, Bangladesh was an island in
Yerevan like an island of San Lazaro near Venice. Second, our teacher’s unity look like the Order
of Mekhitarists. Third, our director respects Mechitar of Sebaste very much.
Mechitar of Sebaste’s name was Manuk.
The Mekhitarist Order is situated on the Island San Lazzaro in Venice.
They compare Mechitar of Sebaste with St. Grigor Illuminator and Mesrob Mashtots.

5.  Ofelya Andreasyan
 I study at Eastern branch of Mkhitar Sebastatsi School. Our school is very large and
beautiful. It consists of seven branches. They are: Eastern school, Western school, Southern
school, Northern school, Media Centre, Art School and College. At school when we have
time we ride a bicycle. We have got a horse-race. Sometimes we ride horses. In spring
summer we swim in the swimming-pool twice a week. At our school pupils have an
opportunity to choose an extra subject. We can choose design and modelling, mathematics,
Media journalism and Physical Education.
 We celebrate all the holidays: New Year, Easter, the days of Mkhitar Sebastatsi, Women`s
Day, Independence Day. We create our own holidays: Harissa Day, we pickle vegetables, we
accept guests from different countries. We take interviews, we organize meetings. We often
plant trees in our schoolyard. We grow roses, violets and many other lovely flowers in our
school garden. We have 16 classrooms. They are very light and comfortable. We take part in
interesting flash-mobs and organize round tables. We have a big canteen where food is so
delicious.
 I am very proud that I study at Mkhitar Sebastatsi School. I am fond of my school very much.

Mkhitarist Congregation is situated on San Lazzaro (St. Ghazar)
island, Venice.
Mechitar of Sebaste is often compared with Mesrop Mashtots and St.
Grigor the Illuminator.

I study at Eastern school of Mkhitar Sebastatsi Educational Complex.
There are also other schools: Western School, Southern School, Northern
School, Media Center, Art School and College. It is the most beautiful
school because we celebrate Easter, New Year’s Eve, Harisa’s feast, and so
on. Apart from the festive events, we make designs with our interviews
and tell the little ones about the Armenian painters and writers. We also
swim in the swimming pools in summer and spring, as well as in winter,.
We can drive bikes. We also have a large kitchen where Harisa, Ghapaman
are made… I’m very glad to learn at Mkhitar Sebastatsi Educational
Complex.

7. Svetlana Hambardzumyan
Mkhitar Sebastatsi Educational Complex has 7 schools. I learn at
Eastern school. Օur school has 3 floors. There is a swimming pool on
the first floor. It is still being constructed. There is a library, a school
canteen, gymnastics room and medical cabinet on the second floor.
Our classrooms are on the third floor. Our school has a garden. Many
trees of different fruits, plants and flowers grow in the garden.
Օur teachers are very patient, beautiful and happy. We often
have trips. It is very interesting in our school. I think that I learn at the
most interesting and joyful, the best school.
Mkhitar Sebastatsi’s name was Manuk.
The Mekhitarist Order is on the island of San Lazzaro inVenice.
It is said that Mkhitar Sebastatsi is the second Mesrop Mashtots.

8. Mane Mkrtchyan
Mkhitar Sebastatsi was a monk.He founded the Mekhitarist Order on San Lazzaro island.Here he built
church, opened a school.Our school is called Mkhitar Sebastatsi in honour of him.
Gomtsyan Arsen
I study at Mkhitar Sebastatsi school. My school is very beautiful, big and bright. There are 5 classes, a
kindergarten for children in my school. After the 5 grade we will go to the high school of Mkhitar
Sebastatsi. My school has large, light rooms and we have a big yard where we play. There are
beautiful trees in our yard. At our school all are very friendly and kind.
