Demo Setup (Before Each Demo)
• Optional: Create a Social Conversation Digest email as a demo starting point
• Open this email
• Click Forward so that you can edit the email.
• Highlight and remove portions of the email that are not applicable
• Update with current dates and your specific message (aligned with your OSN conversation)
• Change the OSN link to point to your environment
– To find the link for your environment
• Open Social network in your environment logged as Simon Gilbert
• Open OSN in a separate tab using the Expand icon in upper right corner
• Click on the Team Meetings conversation
• Copy its url. It should look like https://XXX-XXXX-osn.oracledemos.com/osn/web/cList/conversations/XXXXXX
– In the email, right clik on Team Meetings hyperlink. Choose Edit hyperlink and paste your link in the Address field
• Send the email. Check the link before your demo.

  2. As you can see, on top of my homepage, the social network is embedded in the application and protected by application security and single sign-on. I can also subscribe to receive social network update directly in my emails. [Open the Social Network email setup in pre-demo step]

It looks like James Seller will be joining our next team call to discuss the new expense policy for 2015, and I am reminded that I still need to go in and update my profile.   I don’t know James Seller, but I would like to learn more about him before the team meeting.   6. As an employee, I access the applications through my personal springboard. I can configure it to fit my needs. I can chose what icons are displayed and what are only accessible through the navigator. I can configure my Favorites menu to reflect what I do the most in the application. % Employees are key to transformation and they need to adapt to the new system or nothing else can change. The main concerns with adoption are ease of use and delivering value to the user so they want to adopt the new modern system.   % In working with our customers and partners it was eye opening to identify that the most commonly used self service transaction was actually the Company Directory. One customer, during validation said, “I enroll in benefits once a year but I rarely go a day without looking someone up in the directory.”   Take for example Activision Publishing -- The largest, most profitable pure-play interactive entertainment software publisher in the world. Based in Santa Monica, California, it operates in sixteen countries with more than 7,000 employees worldwide. They were able to excite and engage employees using Oracle HCM Cloud. [Click Directory]

  9. Here is a summary of Robert Jackman’s information. This view shows the hierarchy that I belong to in the organization.   % The user experience is the same across platforms, so you can view this on any mobile device with the same experience. For each person, I can see a contact card. On the top of the screen I get the global hierarchy line. [Click Brian Joseph’s card]
  10. I want to find out about Brian Joseph before our next team call. By clicking on Brian’s name, I access his detailed information. Here I can see contact and public information about Brian Joseph including where he works and his interests and areas of expertise.   I see his contact details and that he works in Atlanta, as well as his Manager and Peers in the organization. Because there is a rich Collaborative capability throughout Oracle HCM Cloud all I have to do is click on the email address or phone number and I can communicate through that media immediately and in context of what I am doing. While in here, I remember that I had a clarifying question regarding expense reporting that I want to send to Brian prior to the team meeting. I didn’t have to leave the application to send my communication to Brian, which keeps me in the context of what I am doing and focused on my task at hand. The system doesn’t care what I use for an email client; it simply opens the window appropriately for me to proceed. [Click Provide Feedback button]
  11. In HCM Cloud, any employee or manager that you have worked with, or who does know you, can enter a feedback on your profile. These feedback can either be public and posted to everyone, or restricted to the employee and their manager. It is a very efficient way to receive continuous feedback on your work. It’s also a good way to get information on new colleagues. [Click Home icon]
  12. Directory is very useful and empowers me to research and contact colleagues within the organization regardless of where in the world they are located. Simplicity is key to employee adoption and making life easier is a reason for employees to embrace and adopt the modern system. Like most employees, my main concern is that my personal information is accurate and secure and that I have a quick and easy way to maintain this data. [Click Personal Information tile]
  13. In HCM Cloud, all the information are organized to make it easy for me to find what I am looking for. [Click Contact Information tile]
  14. Depending on the country I’m in, information will be different depending upon legislative compliance. It is this simple for me to update my personal information, like work phone and address.   % Zip code validation ensures an easy and accurate update. [click Pencil icon in Address block]
  15. I can easily correct or update my information using the Pencil icon to edit any information I need. [Click Cancel]
  16. As you can see, Oracle HCM Cloud has simplified the Employee experience so that you only have to be concerned with your own data, but it also enables you to search and collaborate with colleagues in a way that encourages adoption and requires little to no training. This is how we gain true transformation and the value of Modern HCM systems.   [Click Back Arrow]

  19. My employment history shows me a lot of information, It includes a graphical bandwidth of my employment with my various assignments over time. [Click Compensation tab]
