1. Calling for Assistance
Calls are made by pressing the Call Buttons on the Control Panel of the badge.
To Make a Primary Call For Assistance:
1. Press the RED Call Button once.
2. Observe that the LED Light flashes green and the Badge beeps rapidly.
The light will flash and the badge will beep intermittently until the call is cancelled.
Cancelling a Call for Assistance
When assistance is no longer required, the call will need to be cancelled.
To cancel either a Primary Call or an Elevated Call:
1. Press the Grey Call Button once.
2. Observe that the LED Light stops flashing and the Badge stops beeping.
The badge has now reset and normal use can continue.
There is no need to cancel a Primary Call in order to change to an Elevated Call. If a Primary Call is in progress, press the Grey and Red Call Buttons
together as described above.
To Make an Elevated Call For Emergency Assistance (Duress):
1. Press the GREY Call Button together with the RED Call Button .
2. Observe that the Badge will emit two quick beeps, then become silent. The LED Light will rapidly flash green.
The light will continue to flash rapidly until the call is cancelled.
Make sure you cancel the call for assistance once it is no longer required. This will prolong battery life and reset the badge for normal use.
