Business
programme
The exhibition is accompanied by a business
programme designed for food professionals to get to
know the latest trends in the production and use of
food ingredients.
In 2015, the business programme included:
• 16th Food Ingredients of the 21st Century forum
• 14th Ingredient of the Year competition
• School for Food Ingredients Technologists
• Master classes for confectioners
In 2015, the forum was attended by 300 specialists in
the food industry.
More than 60 food ingredients technologists attended
the School for Food Ingredients Technologists and
obtained certificates for completing the Use of
Ingredients in Food Production programme.
The Ingredient of the Year 2015 competition included
10 categories. 17 gold and silver medals were
awarded.

Master
classes for
confectioners
Each year Ingredients Russia provides exhibitors will
the opportunity to hold their own master classes for
visitors.
In 2015, Solnechnye Produkty sponsored the master
class area and organised a master class for
confectioners.
Throughout the exhibition professionals got the
opportunity to see the advantages of certain products
from Solnechnye Produkty and taste the finished
products.

Ingredient of the Year competition

Ingredient of the Year is a competition where food ingredients producers get the opportunity to
present their products to be assessed by an independent panel of experts.
The aim of the competition is to promote the production and use of competitive food
ingredients in Russia and to promote innovation in this area.
In 2015, the following prizes were
awarded:
• 13 gold medals
• 4 silver medals
• 12 special certificates

Winning companies got the right to place an image of the medal on the packaging of their product.
