2. Introduction
• JAXA's Hayabusa
spacecraft carries the
Asteroid Multiband
Imaging Camera
(AMICA) and it
imaged the entire
surface of asteroid
Itokawa in 2005.

3. Method
•Collect the AMICA image from NASA/PDS
•Richardson-Lucy deconvolution algorithm

6. Discussion
• The blur was successfully removed by using the Richardson-
Lucy algorithm.

7. Conclusion
• Fig.2 and Fig.3 shows that removing the blur from images were
succeed, but comparing the original image with the resulting
image, we can see that the colors have become darker.
• There is a possibility that a better image can be obtained by
changing the psf used for deconvolution.
