5. • A career refers to a job or a number of jobs which fulfills your long
term professional goals and generally aligns with your passions and
interests. One may do a job for money, without thinking about the
future or their long-term goals and skill sets. A career though is a set
of jobs and/or opportunities that develop over a longer period of
time and build on the skills, passions, and interests that you have.
These stepping stones allow an individual to eventually advance to
higher paying and more complex jobs.
