3. #SummerOfSpam
Show us your best summer photos and help
promote holiday spam to the world!
4. Hot Dog Legs
Now this is a classic holiday photo and a particularly
popular pose for those showcasing tans and beach/
poolside views. To get the hot dog legs effect, simply
lie down with an epic summer back drop and take a
photo of your legs.
Please note, you will get extra jealousy points if you
have a tan, but generally sunshine will turn most
followers green with envy.
(FYI the reason it’s called Hot Dog Legs is because of this blog,
which asks you to differentiate between legs and hot dogs, it’s
actually quite hard sometimes).
5. The Scenery Pose
This is a chance for you to show your serious holiday
side, you’re looking over the beautiful scenery and
reflecting on life. Ok really you’re just showing off the
beautiful scenery and the fact that you get to see it
first hand, take that followers.
Note: There are several variants of scenery poses, facing the
camera or looking out into the distance. It’s up to you, as long as
the mouth-watering scenery is there.
6. The Mini-Monument
A classic example of the mini-monument is the
famous Leaning Tower of Pisa photo, with the typical
‘I’m holding up this huge building by myself’ pose.
The mini-monument shot is a classic and a great way
to show your fun side, but mainly to showcase that
you’re getting to enjoy all these wonderful landmarks
whilst everyone else is at home, hopefully in the rain.
7. The Cocktail Shot
You could be relaxing by the pool with a cocktail in
hand, or enjoying your evening and having an exotic
cocktail to accompany your oh so tasty meal. It’s
sooo refreshing it’s essential that you take a photo
and share.
Cheers!
8. The View from the
Plane Window
Well you’ve shared the fact that you’re at the airport
(mandatory check-in of course) so why not continue
this to the plane journey there? It’s the best feeling
when you’re about to arrive at your destination and, if
you’re lucky enough to get a window seat, you get to
enjoy that first glimpse of your holiday destination.
Note: The view from the plane arriving home isn’t quite as exciting
and not worth sharing.

9. The Pool Pose
Any photo of you by a pool is going to instigate envy
and there are various poses that you can adopt. Kim
Kardashian (a.k.a Queen of posing) nailed it this
summer with this shot of her in Mexico.
Now you don’t have to be as seductive as Kim, but
you get the idea….

11. Food, Glorious Food
Eating is a large part of your holiday, so why not share
a snap of the yummy local cuisine that you’re getting
to sample? Oh and don’t forget the huge, delicious ice
cream sundae. Snap and share (and eat of course).
12. The Sunset Shot
You can be in the sunset, or you could just be looking
at the sunset, either way it’s beautiful and you must
share. Top tip, a classic pose is to shape your hands
into a heart, just to reinforce the fact that you really
are loving it.
13. The Temperature
Screenshot
You check your phone for the weather and oh my it’s
looking glorious, in fact it’s too hot not to share.
Take a screenshot of your phone with the current
temperature and let other people know that it’s hot
where you are / where you’re going.
14. The Jumping Shot
This could be jumping into the pool, jumping on the
beach, or just general jumping in a fabulous location.
Basically, it’s a brilliant way to show you’re so happy
on holiday you are literally jumping for joy.
15. The Sunglasses Shot
This can either be the view through your sunglasses
or the view reflected in your sunglasses. Either way,
it’s cool and arty therefore you share!
16. The Underwater Shot
Underwater shots of either the swimming pool or sea
are great and the perfect way to show that you’re not
just sunbathing (you’re cooling off too!).
Note: Please make sure you have underwater facilities on your
camera, a broken camera/ phone will prevent you from sharing
the rest of your holiday snaps.
17. Thank you and remember to share your
#SummerofSpam photos. Together we can
fight holiday spam discrimination!
