Who would be the audience for your media evaluation 4 powerpoint
1.
2. My research helped me to come to the conclusion that
my target audience would be, mainly female between
the age of 16-24. I feel like this age range best suited
my magazine as this is the age when people explore
different types of music rather than following the
mainstream crowd. As well as this 16 is the age that
people start to go out to gigs and concerts, something
my magazine is based on. I have decided to cut off my
target audience at the age of 24 as in my opinion this
is the age that people become more mature and stop
going out and become less interested in hearing new
music and discovering new genres. This age range is
appropriate to my magazine as they will be able to
afford the £4.00 cost of ‘REVOLUTION’ my market
research also told me that this is an affordable price
that people will be willing to pay. Although I am aiming
my magazine at mainly females I would like to try and
attract some males. I would do this through having
different elements in each issue that appeal to the two
different genders, for example different bands and
artists.

females. When producing my magazine, I had to keep in mind
my genre and audience to ensure that everything fitted in and
looked right. I dressed my model in a relaxed and casual way
as this is the vibe I wanted my magazine to have. To stick to
this, I took my photos in a relaxed way and tried to make the
photos look as natural as possible. I think taking the
photographs in an outdoor environment helped produce this
look. Another part of my research that helped me come up
with a target audience was looking at UK tribes. This helped
me to discover the indie scenesters, a group of people who
are likely to buy my magazine. They are more interested in
hearing about small less known bands which is why I decided
to feature the bands I did. The website mentions lots of
groups however I feel like I could relate more to this particular
group which made it easier to produce a magazine that would
