1. SNAP Test Structure
The test duration for a SNAP paper is 120 minutes.
The paper is objective in nature. It consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), wherein the
candidate is to choose the correct answer; out of four options he will be given.
Candidate will be awarded .25 negative marks, for every wrong answer.
The SNAP test comprises four sections.
1) General English- This section comprises comprehension analysis, verbal reasoning and
verbal ability. Vocabulary and the foundational English are tested in this section.
2) Quantitative- This section accommodates data interpretation and data sufficiency.
One’s base in statistical analysis is put to test.
3) General Awareness- It includes putting to test one’s General Knowledge (GK) and
awareness of current affairs. It also tests the knowledge one has, based on business
scenarios.
4) Logic- This section tests the logic-applying and reasoning abilities of the candidate.
The first three sections (General English, Quantitative and General Awareness) are of 40 marks
each. The last section (Logic), accounts for 60 marks. The paper is of 180 marks in all.
