Answer: The impact of information technology on supply chain management is immense.
IT has influenced supply chains in forming positive client relationships; developing new markets, expanding
older marketing channels, coordinating and integrating commercial distribution and logistics and business
process re-engineering and restoring value chain between enterprises. We will now discuss these impacts in
detail.

(a)Box Jenkins Method: This method is a self analytical time series forecasting method. Its emphasis is to
find a formula so that the residuals are as small as possible and exhibit no pattern. Box–Jenkins model is
widely used and practiced in understanding systematic approach for verifying forecasting uncertainty. This
method of forecasting is much superior to other methods because to a large extent it is useful in identifying
complexities in behaviour patterns.
