This document discusses analyzing nocturnal snoring in sleep apnea patients using wavelet-based techniques. It introduces obstructive sleep apnea and polysomnography testing. It then discusses using the continuous wavelet transform and Morlet wavelet to analyze snoring sounds. Graphs show the time-frequency distribution of a snoring sample. The analysis finds snoring signals carry acoustic signatures that change over time and may provide an alternative, non-invasive means for diagnosing obstructive sleep apnea.

ECochG is a variant of brainstem audio evoked response (ABR) where the recording electrode is placed as close as practical to the cochlea. We will use the abbreviation ECOG and ECochG interchangeably below. ECOG is preferable to us as it is shorter.
ECOG is intended to diagnose Meniere's disease, and particular, hydrops (swelling of the inner ear). ECOG may also be abnormal in perilymph fistula, and in superior canal dehiscence. The common feature connecting these illnesses is an imbalance in pressure between the endolymphatic and perilymphatic compartment of the inner ear.
ECOG can also be used to show that the cochlea is normal, in persons who are deaf. The cochlear microphonic of ECOG may be normal in auditory neuropathy (Santarelli and Arslan 2002) as well as other disorders in which the cochlea is preserved but the auditory nerve is damaged (Yokoyama, Nishida et al. 1999).
Finally, ECOG's have also been used to as a indicator of the temporary threshold shift that may follow noise injury (Nam et al, 2004).
Comparison of 500Hz Tonebursts and 500Hz octave Chirps for Cervical vestibula...HassanMoinudeen
Abstract- The Cervical-Vestibular evoked Myogenic potential(cVEMP) is a biphasic surface potential recorded from the belly of Sternocleidomastoid muscle (SCM) followed by presenting a short loud sound. Various studies have been done with different stimulus to obtain better VEMP responses. The present study is aimed at comparing the c-VEMP responses (amplitude and latencies) of 500 Hz tone burst with 500Hz octave chirp (360720Hz). c-VEMP was administered on 60 ears from 30 subjects. After preparation, responses were recorded presenting 500Hz Tone bursts and 500Hz octave chirps. P1-N1 amplitude, P1 and N1 latencies for both stimuli were noted. The chirp was observed to produce significantly larger amplitude and early latencies than tone burst (p<0.01). This study was in search of a stimulus that will produce larger and better response to be used in clinics , Chirp qualifies to be one. Further studies on larger sample size and age groups are required to make generalizations.
Examining deviations in the upper airway
reduction for the period of sleep is invasive and expensive.
Because the snoring sounds are created by air instability and
vibrations of the upper airway appropriate to its reduction.
These sounds have been used as a non-invasive method to
evaluate upper airway narrowing. Snoring is able to be a
sign of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) disease. Recently
an Ensemble Swarm Intelligent based VOTE Classification
(ESIVC) approach is introduced for snore sound detection
and diagnosis of OSA. But in ESIVC depends on single
feature selection algorithm which mightn’t provide higher
performance. To solve this problem in this work we
introduce an Ensemble Feature Selection (EFS) by
combining many feature selection methods. The major aim
of this work is to introduce a subject-precise acoustic model
of the upper airway in the direction of examine the impact
of upper airway by snoring sounds of multi-features. The
initial stage of the work the collected audio signals recorded
using Drug-Induced Sleep Endoscopy (DISE) and these
signals were digitized by the frequency rate of 44.1 kHz,
Pulse Code Modulation (PCM), and down-sampled to 16
kHz per each sample, which is the lowest sampling rate of
the audio recorder. Secondly the noises presented in the
audio signals were removed by Wiener-Filter (WF)
algorithm. Some of the features like Crest Factor, original
Frequency, Spectral Frequency Features, Subband Energy
Ratio, Mel-Scale Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCC),
Empirical Mode Decomposition (EMD) Features, and
Wavelet Energy Features have been extracted from the
noise suppressed audio signals and input into EFS
approach. Then extracted features are selected by the use of
EFS, where multiple FS methods are integrated to provide
more detection results in individual subjects with higher
airway. EFS algorithm fusion the results of all FS methods
in combination with an Ensemble Convolutional Neural
Network with VOTE Classification (ECNN-SVC) approach
showed the best classification results by subject
independent validation. The idea behind ECNN-SVC
approach is to generate a first CNN which is coarsely
optimized however gives an excellent opening pointing for
further tuning, which will serve as the ECNN approach.
Then, the obtained weights are fine tuned by using back
propagation several times to create an ensemble of CNNs
with the purpose of representing the snoring sounds.
ECNN-VC approach is help to classify the snore sounds in
the upper airway. From the detection results, we found that
proposed ECNN-VC classifier significantly performs better
in the upper airway. These results encourage the use of
snoring sounds examination to evaluate the upper airway
analysis during OSA.

Arduino uno based obstructive sleep apnea detection using respiratory signaleSAT Journals
Abstract The monitoring of breathing dynamics is an essential diagnostic tool in various clinical environments, such as sleep analysis, intensive care and central nervous and physiological disorder analysis. This paper introduces a mathematical representation of respiratory pattern in frequency domain .Sleep apnea is defined as cessation of airflow to the lungs during sleep for 10 sec. It normally results from either lack in neural input from the central nervous system (Central Sleep Apnea) or Upper airway collapse (Obstructive sleep apnea).Microcontroller based sleep apnea monitor consists of a piezoelectric sensor attached to rib cage of patient. The amplified signal obtained from the patient is applied to the microcontroller. The method mentioned in the paper is based on extraction of four enhanced main energy features of respiratory signal from 30 second respiratory data through auto regressive modeling and other techniques. The four features extracted are Signal power, Respiration frequency, Dominant frequency in power spectrum, Maximum power in specturm . These features are compared with their threshold values and introduced to a series of condition for each epoch. Keywords: Auto-regression, Sleep apnea, Energy index, Respiratory frequency, Least squares method.
Brief explanation about all the essential parameters monitoring during polysomnography or sleep study with corresponding images for better understanding. Also explain briefly about the split night study.I hope this may be helpful for those who are related to this field.

Enterprise Excellence is Inclusive Excellence.pdfKaiNexus
Enterprise excellence and inclusive excellence are closely linked, and real-world challenges have shown that both are essential to the success of any organization. To achieve enterprise excellence, organizations must focus on improving their operations and processes while creating an inclusive environment that engages everyone. In this interactive session, the facilitator will highlight commonly established business practices and how they limit our ability to engage everyone every day. More importantly, though, participants will likely gain increased awareness of what we can do differently to maximize enterprise excellence through deliberate inclusion.
What is Enterprise Excellence?
Enterprise Excellence is a holistic approach that's aimed at achieving world-class performance across all aspects of the organization.
What might I learn?
A way to engage all in creating Inclusive Excellence. Lessons from the US military and their parallels to the story of Harry Potter. How belt systems and CI teams can destroy inclusive practices. How leadership language invites people to the party. There are three things leaders can do to engage everyone every day: maximizing psychological safety to create environments where folks learn, contribute, and challenge the status quo.
Who might benefit? Anyone and everyone leading folks from the shop floor to top floor.

Memorandum Of Association Constitution of Company.pptseri bangash
www.seribangash.com
A Memorandum of Association (MOA) is a legal document that outlines the fundamental principles and objectives upon which a company operates. It serves as the company's charter or constitution and defines the scope of its activities. Here's a detailed note on the MOA:
Contents of Memorandum of Association:
Name Clause: This clause states the name of the company, which should end with words like "Limited" or "Ltd." for a public limited company and "Private Limited" or "Pvt. Ltd." for a private limited company.
https://seribangash.com/article-of-association-is-legal-doc-of-company/
Registered Office Clause: It specifies the location where the company's registered office is situated. This office is where all official communications and notices are sent.
Objective Clause: This clause delineates the main objectives for which the company is formed. It's important to define these objectives clearly, as the company cannot undertake activities beyond those mentioned in this clause.
www.seribangash.com
Liability Clause: It outlines the extent of liability of the company's members. In the case of companies limited by shares, the liability of members is limited to the amount unpaid on their shares. For companies limited by guarantee, members' liability is limited to the amount they undertake to contribute if the company is wound up.
https://seribangash.com/promotors-is-person-conceived-formation-company/
Capital Clause: This clause specifies the authorized capital of the company, i.e., the maximum amount of share capital the company is authorized to issue. It also mentions the division of this capital into shares and their respective nominal value.
Association Clause: It simply states that the subscribers wish to form a company and agree to become members of it, in accordance with the terms of the MOA.
Importance of Memorandum of Association:
Legal Requirement: The MOA is a legal requirement for the formation of a company. It must be filed with the Registrar of Companies during the incorporation process.
Constitutional Document: It serves as the company's constitutional document, defining its scope, powers, and limitations.
Protection of Members: It protects the interests of the company's members by clearly defining the objectives and limiting their liability.
External Communication: It provides clarity to external parties, such as investors, creditors, and regulatory authorities, regarding the company's objectives and powers.
https://seribangash.com/difference-public-and-private-company-law/
Binding Authority: The company and its members are bound by the provisions of the MOA. Any action taken beyond its scope may be considered ultra vires (beyond the powers) of the company and therefore void.
Amendment of MOA:
While the MOA lays down the company's fundamental principles, it is not entirely immutable. It can be amended, but only under specific circumstances and in compliance with legal procedures. Amendments typically require shareholder

5. Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a common sleep-related breathing disorder, characterized by a cessation of respiratory for at least 10 s, corresponding to a complete upper airway (UA) occlusion despite continuous abdominal and chest wall movements. The gold standard for diagnosing OSA is an overnight multi-channel polysomnography (PSG), which can be time-consuming and labour-intensive in setting up and in the subsequent analysis. Therefore, many researchers have attempted to search for other modalities, such as airflow , nasal pressure , and oxygen saturation , to detect OSA. However, these studies require at least a physical contact sensor, which may cause discomfort to the patients. In addition, specific expertise may be needed at the test site for correct placement of sensors.
