The student learned several things from their preliminary college magazine project to their final product:
1) The photography for the college magazine was more informal while the final product photography was more formal and professional-looking.
2) Elements like lighting, cropping, and rule of thirds are important for creating an attractive, professional magazine layout.
3) Software like Photoshop and professional cameras allow for enhanced image composition and quality over informal pictures.
