GM Holden increased vehicle production and reintroduced a second shift, significantly increasing the need for production, logistics, and quality staff. Kelly Services was able to recruit and train over 70 production casuals within 6 weeks to fill open roles. The new starters underwent intensive training by rotating through jobs two weeks before the start date. ZF Lemforder was satisfied that with Kelly Services' assistance they were able to maintain output standards for their customers as they transitioned from one to two shifts. Both supervisors had little to no labor concerns during the initial startup. This led to an extension of Kelly Services' long-term relationship with ZF Lemforder.
