Hermannin Viinitila was founded in 1989 in Finland and began producing wines. In 1995, Finnish alcohol laws changed allowing for distilling. Brothers Samuli and Arttu Taponen founded Valamon Viiniherman in 1997. To meet growing international demand, in 2017 the company joined with Chef & Chevalier’s and was renamed Nordic Premium Beverages.
