music video ‘How You
Like Me Now’

Overall, we have almost 8000
views! This is the biggest figure
out of all the others music
videos.

Global Viewing figures
Overall, it seems to be clear
that most of the views came
from UK. This is
understandable. Firstly, the
overall look of our band is
very British (costumes,
hats). Also, all the members
of the band are British
people. And actually, the
group itself was ‘originated
in UK- London (bio of our
group). So these statistics
did not surprise us. We
were pleased to know that
the idea we wanted to
betray was understood.
However, it seems as well that it was viewed in Russia. The reason for this is likely to be
that I shared it through Russian network platforms such as vkontakte. I also sent links to
my Russian friends and it is worth adding that they enjoyed it very much.
It was viewed also in other countries, meaning that is is
globally orientated as well which is also a great thing.
The average watch time
This shows that our audience did not enjoy any moment in
particular but watched the whole video from the start to the
end. This meant that they were engaged with our narrative.
This suggests that we have a strong and interesting
narrative. I wanted our music video to have a main focus on
the narrative and it is very good that the plan did work
indeed.
P.S. You may notice that the most ‘viewed’ part is the
beginning. But we never take this information into
account because many people start watching the
video and then immediately switch it off so this
information is pointless.
Demographics
We were surprised to find out
that our target audience is
actually females, but not as
we originally though - males.
Another surprising fact is that
the age of our target
audience is actually 18-24.
We expected it to be middle
aged.
Maybe this is because we use the song that was already quite
popular within this audience
This shows that the video was shared through other social platform (e.g. it was
viewed not only on the Youtube). This is very good because spreadability is an
indicator of success.
Devisers watched on
This shows that the
wast majority of our
audience watched
the video on the
computer. However,
they also watched it
on mobile phones
which is a good
thing as they can
show it to their
friends directly and
easier.
