The Youth HEART IMPACT! Scholarship Fund provides scholarships to middle school students for community service. Empty Bowls began in 1990 as a small food drive fundraiser and has grown into an international charitable movement celebrating its 25th anniversary. It combines art and charity by hosting events where ceramic bowls made by volunteers are sold for $15 each to raise money for local food banks. Wittenberg University has held its own Empty Bowls event annually since 1994, raising over $360,000 total over 21 years for a local food bank by selling over 1,000 handmade bowls each year. Wisconsin International School had a successful first year, with 75 students attending on the first day of school. The school implemented its global-focused curriculum and mission of preparing students to become responsible global citizens. Parents were heavily involved and contributed countless hours of support. The founders are grateful to the parents, faculty, donors, and board for helping make the school's vision a reality.
SOS 2014 Annual Report
The annual report summarizes the activities of SOS over the past year. It highlights that SOS helped over 15,500 students prepare for 650 exams across 22 universities through Exam-AID sessions led by 350 volunteers. Funds raised through these sessions totaled $340,106 which were used to fund educational development projects in Latin America built by SOS volunteers. The report features the chapter at UBC which raised the most funds and was named Chapter of the Year. It also provides an overview of the types of projects SOS funds in Latin America including classrooms, kitchens, and chicken coops to improve nutrition and education.

Effective case statements tell compelling stories that inspire action by articulating an organization's mission and vision for change.
Social Fundraising 101 09.09.11
This document provides tips for launching a successful social fundraising campaign. It recommends beginning with existing supporters and not being shy about directly asking for donations. Specific tips include setting meaningful donation levels tied to outcomes, uploading campaign content to social media and fundraising platforms, sending regular email updates, recruiting supporters to promote the campaign on their own networks, and celebrating milestones to encourage ongoing donations. The goal is to align messaging across email, websites, social media and more to effectively engage supporters and achieve fundraising targets through a social multiplier effect.

A wound is a break in the integrity of the skin or tissues, which may be associated with disruption of the structure and function.
Healing is the body’s response to injury in an attempt to restore normal structure and functions.
Healing can occur in two ways: Regeneration and Repair
There are 4 phases of wound healing: hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling. This document also describes the mechanism of wound healing. Factors that affect healing include infection, uncontrolled diabetes, poor nutrition, age, anemia, the presence of foreign bodies, etc.
Complications of wound healing like infection, hyperpigmentation of scar, contractures, and keloid formation.
