Manthan THEME : BUILDING SKILLSETS
WHAT CHANGE REQUIRED?
 Less Concern about the Future because of no
Motivation
 Least knowledge of our Rights & their Duties
 Much attracted to easy Money as they are
being ruined by present education system
 Who have skills does not get enough
opportunities
 They care for nation but No-one care for them
 They have many talents to show
but they are hidden due to lack of
Dignity of labor
 Need to be motivate the youth not
about price of living but the value of life
 Need of education about rights & duties
of being Indian
 Should give Meaningful reservation but
not on Caste Reservation
 We Should have good quality of
education which is measurement of our
standard
 Every job done with value should be
encouraged
 Should encourage our ideas
What we are What we need
Change 1:
Importance of Youth should be recognized
 Every person of the age group 15 to 35 should be considered as youth
 Every student must be provide a membership in national youth organizations
they should get
The Main objectives of these Organizations is:
 Should appoint youth as paid volunteers in election process and so that they
get awareness about them
 Should start student workshops every weekend in every town of country about
vocational works
 Should give government part -time jobs for eligible and talented students and
they should be provided free education
 Research centres should be established at every city of country and they should
be free
 Sports ,arts clubs should be started
 These organizations should fund poor students for their education
 Should make youth free from drug addiction & other anti social activities by
making them busy in building the nation
Change 2:update education system
Knowledge unapplied is useless
Education without value is Dangerous
 Education in India is marks oriented now it is in great need to be transformed into knowledge
oriented
 Students now much aware of new gadgets but not about how they work
 Technical education should give major funds and should be centralized making them rich in
quality of education
 Education should be available for every citizen at reasonable cost
 Should establish Digital libraries in every city
 Should built student community halls in every town
 Internet service centers must be established in every village (at reachable places)
 Separate institutes must be started for arts
 Education should be made student choice system
 Ease the burden on students
 Should restrict fee in private institutions
Change in State of Urban Youth
Man without work will be burden to Society
Most of the youth in urban areas are jobless
This because most of the youth are joining only technical courses like B.E
for which more employment opportunities available in the country and also the quality of
knowledge is not up to the mark and they not ready for job world
Many students lack in practical knowledge so though there are jobs required employees are not
available.
First the standards of technical education should be improved
When government fails to give employment for the eligible then should encourage capable
youth who can create new self employment such as:
Food processing plants , water purification ,government retail stores
Pollution control agencies , city management , security management agencies , computer graphics
Handloom industry , information technology services e.t.c should be encouraged
Loans should be provided to youth for their self employment
SELF EMPLOYEMENT SHOULD BE ENCOURAGED
Some of the fields which can choose for their self employment oppurtunties:
This is possible only when youth will be ready to work
•Event/party planner
•Food service provider
•Freelance writing
•Landscaping
•Online marketing
•Online sales
•Online virtual assistance
•Proofreader/editor
•Researcher
•Tutorial services
1. Virtual Assistant: Provides administrative, technical and creative assistance to the needs of a specific
business. This could entail research, writing reports, placing orders, managing calendars and so on.
Everything an office assistant would do, but virtually.
2. Graphic Designer: Creates logos, emblems, art and various other images for clients based on their
need. Graphic designers can be used to design images for anything ranging from t-shirts to brochures.
3. Writer: Whether it is becoming a copywriter, a ghost writer or both, with the rise of social media,
organizations and other self-employed people are hiring writers for both blogging and business.
4. Craftsman: Door to door selling would work well for handmade crafts 25 years ago. Now it is easier to
sell handmade crafts right on the internet by creating your own website. If you’re great at making
something, get great at profiting from it too.
5. Babysitting: This can become a full time job, often with a decent pay if you do not mind the travel
from house to house. If you love kids, of course this is for your employment
6. Landscaper: Becoming a self-employed landscaper is perfect if you have a keen sense to the visual
affect of the placement of plants, grass and other structures. This is the best choice if you’re a
gardener.
7. Entertainer: You may be looking to become self-employed because you used up all your jokes at the
workplace. When there are always “tough times” occurring somewhere, traveling as a comedian or
another type of entertainer can be profitable.
8. Public Speaker: Getting other people engaged in what you have to talk about is perfect if you have a
motivational and inspirational intensity in everything you say each day and don’t mind speaking to
large numbers of people
9. Teacher: All you have to do is ask yourself what you know well enough to teach other people how to
do. Cook? Speak a second language? Karate?
These jobs are also be choosen by youth this Is
possible only when there is dignity of labour
Modernize agriculture jobs
 Though the number of unemployed youth is comparatively lower when compared to
urban youth but their standards of living should be developed by encouraging youth who
opt agriculture as their carrier by providing modern machinery and quality of service
which help in keeping nation hunger free
This will also ensure that there will be no food production scarcity
And we can keep our nation backbones ie Farmers Stronger
Thank u 
We sincerely thank you for giving an opportunity to take part in this program and giving
us a role in building nation
