2. CHILD LABOR
-Work is the daily bread of 23% of children between the ages of five and 14 in Yemen.
-With occurrences such as sexual exploitation until being treated as slaves, these
children are the object of cruelty and evil.
-Their health, both physical and mental, their safety and their development are severely
affected.
3. EDUCATION RIGHTS
-More than a quarter of Yemen's children do not receive education.
-This fact affects girls more than boys.
-In addition, the centers lack hygiene and the facilities are neither sufficient nor in
good condition.
-Also, the presence of the armed forces throughout the country makes it difficult
and endangers the path they travel to reach the school.
-To ensure the safety of children, some schools have no choice but to close,
preventing children from enjoying their right to education.
