experiment and plan your final outcome
for your project.To ensure success you
must make sure you have thoroughly
planned, experimented and carefully
considered your theme and concept.

will be for your 15
hour Summer
Controlled
Assessment.

4. You now need to consider how you are going to
produce a final outcome for your personal project.
This is key to getting marks for A04 as well as
picking up lots marks for (A01-A03). At this point you
must be ambitious, skilful and conceptual with
what you plan and achieve
Images of successful work with an
explanation of why you feel think this
is? Make sure you consider… skill,
technique and concept.
Images of Artists work that has really
inspired your theme with clear explanations
Sketches, ideas of final images, ideas for media to use…
(Your initial idea should be at least one double page)
Display inspiration (complete at least one
full page of display ideas. This should be a
mood board with annotations of your
opinions)

5. You now need to create design pages in your
sketchbook. These MUST link to your previous work so
your project shows a narrative. At this point you may
have a clear idea of what media you want to use, how
you want to display your work or further exploration might
still be needed. These pages should show what else you
need to explore to come to a conclusion and be confident
you can create a successful final outcome that justifies
your sketchbook work.
You should create at LEAST five double pages to show
this progression. The way these pages are formatting will
depend on what you need to explore this could be more
shoots, media experiments, trying out different ways of
displaying your work, exploring different scales,
experimenting with different sequences of images etc.
All pages should include artist links and your own
photographic images considering display inspiration and
topic specific influences
