-Shade and Tone (you will add subtle
mark-making to show to darker areas of
your object. -Brown parcel paper
-Conte
-A Natural Form object

completing a process page on your
mixed media drawing!

-Water Pot and chunky brush
-Your Natural Form
Take a photograph at the end of the
lesson to show your progress as
next week you will be completing a
process page on your mixed media
drawing!
Today you will be using coffee to
show mid tones in your drawing
as well as texture. Make sure
you don’t add to much and
experiment with adding water
first and sprinkling granules as
well as using it almost like a
water colour. You will also find
your conte will blend once
brushed over with water!

-Tissue Paper
-Your Natural Form

lesson to show your progress as
next week you will be completing a
process page on your mixed media
drawing!
Today you will be
focusing on the
highlights and
texture you can see
in your object. Use
white tissue and
PVA glue to show
these areas.
5. Monday
17th October
This week you need to….
1. Complete adding conte, coffee and tissue paper
to your large mixed media observational drawing
(you will have one more refining lesson next
week)
2. Begin a mini mixed media observational
drawing (this will go in your sketchbook)
3. Print your process photographs in colour
(please come at lunch if you are unable to do this
at home)
4. Print one of your Natural Form Photographs
A4 to complete a monoprint from after half term.
