Extension Transcription
This is where you take the
artists style and create your
own work using it.
In this example the student
has applied similar painterly
techniques and colours to
their own subject mater.
Echo the artists style into your board
Painting straight onto your board?
Photography in the Summer
Your Photos
• When you come back we will present them
and create contact sheets.
• Any ‘reach for the stars’ work will also be
presented but you could present these on the
right sized paper for your book ready to stick
in or take some extra board home to create an
experimental board of work on.
Importance of photos for the first
lesson in September!
• We will be working on them in Photoshop in
the FIRST lesson back, most likely the Tuesday.
• They must be on a USB stick. They loose
quality in emails and on the drive.
• You will be producing an etching and a large
pencil observation from these images, two
main pieces of your coursework.
Second Artist- on a board
• Layout the transcription, images, writing, title and
collect any collage materials that you want to use.
Lay it out on the board and check with me before
starting to apply it permanently.
• Board to be complete by your last lesson (Tues/Weds
lunch times for extra support)
• See Summer HW sheet and photo feed back sheet.
