Intel is well-known a leading chips manufacture and technology related international cooperation. It extended into tablets industry cooperated with many manufactures like Acer, Lenovo.
To compete with Apple, Intel tables try to earn the market with relatively cheap price, leading high-technology brand produces high-quality and competitive tablets also. The purpose of the campaign is to attract audience and create awareness that Intel has extended into tablets and gonna rock the market.
The slogan is concise and stick to Intel tablets own character, which easy to remember and easy to use in hashtags in Twitter to spread.
Consumers of tablets would be most students with study purpose or business people with work use. But it is not user-friendly to Windows systems, while Intel tablets have that as the points-of-difference. Marking down the price or big promotion could be a strategy to increase the brand awareness. In sum, the target audience of Intel tablets would be not only limited to tech-savvy customers like Intel used to target. Target audience could be average income people who consider iPads are over charged, that they are looking for comparable products with lower price.
In a digital marketing campaign, social media needs to be well chosen. Different social media has different roles and approaches. In this campaign, I need to utilize Facebook, Twitter, and Intel' official web page to establish official accounts for sending out related information, and technical blogs to publish professional comments of recent released tablets, in order to attract new consumers, and Google tools to integrate all the strategy into an inbound marketing strategy aiming at optimizing the digital campaign. But my main focus is on tweeter, which could conduct more interactions.
-attract followers by reposting the tweet with most likes to incent tweeter users to retweet and pass on to friends.
-daily selected ones rewards like gift cards, coupons or practical products of Intel Inside tablets.
-lunch time, so that everybody could spare time to browse tweets. Actually, I am not sure this would ensure the sales, but it would certainly increase the brand awareness and entertainment.
