2. My school organize football games
every year which all the students in
the school are able to get involved
and every year we can choose a
theme to represent our section. In the
2007, the theme chosen by the school
was the celebration of the “America
cup” which was held in Venezuela in
2007 so my section chooses Mexico
to represent our team. We trained
during a month and we devised news
strategies to achieve our goal. We
worked as a team, divided and planed
the task that each member should to
do before each game. We
perseverate thinking positively all the
time and then succeed. We were
hoping to win that time since the year
before we lost. Finally our hard work
paid off. My team were happy with the
results
3. I studied high school at U.E. Nuestra
Señora de Lourdes in my country
Venezuela. In my senior year, I
enjoyed so much and shared many
wonderful moments with my fellow
classmates. In the last year of
school we did many activities to
raise funds for our graduation
ceremony. We started doing raffle
and organized verbena (fair) in the
school, we also performed shows for
the people where we all enjoyed as
a family. In this opportunity I learned
to work in team and manage my
time between my studies and the
prom issues. Finally the last day of
school had come, our efforts were
productive. My parents and families
was proud of me for all the hard
work I have done in my studies
4. Diploma and graduation ceremony • I graduated high school at U.E.
Nuestra Señora de Lourdes. During
these five years at school I faced
challenges in some of my courses
but I did pretty well to get
outstanding grades. In order to keep
my high grades, I push myself and
commit to study hard every day. In
my senior year, my grades dropped
a little because I was caring more
about the graduation issues, but
with my hard work and willingness
to finish the school with high
marks, I was able to go through the
both activities. I organized a
schedule and with this I was able to
manage my time. Finally, having my
diploma in hand, my next step was
to pursue post-secondary education
in a foreign country.
5. On fall 2011, after two year of
Canada 2011 my graduation, I decided to
pursue post-secondary
education in a foreign country in
where I decided to come to
Canada. Studying abroad will
help me to learn about a new
culture and Canada is a good
option because is a multicultural
city in where we can find
peoples from around the world.
Some friends suggested me to
apply for Centennial College. I
searched everything about the
college and I applied for it. After
a while, I received the
acceptance letter from the
school. But before I came, I
needed a visa to entry to the
country and I applied for it in my
country. I am enjoying my stay
in here; I learned so much and
meet amazing peoples. I am
happy with the decision I took
because I see a different in my
person since I came here
6. In my business communication courses, I
had to do a presentation and a report in
order to pass the courses. In this
presentation I was recorded by the
teacher. I had to choose any company to
research the internal and external
communication of that company. With my
analytical skills and my ability to search, I
was able to find the business practices of
my chosen company: PepsiCo Inc.
spending almost two weeks reading
articles in the newspaper and online. I
also interviewed some employees in the
company to gather information. I finished
my report and ready to present in front of
the class. After done my presentation, I
felt relieved because this was a tough
assignments but I was pleased because I
learned to speak more fluently and freely
in public also I have improved my
