The Creative Lab for Social Innovation aims to improve the quality of life for young people through social entrepreneurship and digital media. They use design thinking principles to create small-scale experiments that test solutions to social problems. Some of their experiments have included using students to discuss alcohol prevention with their peers, allowing youth with long-term illnesses to focus less on their condition, and using digital storytelling to strengthen narratives in child services. Their goal is to apply what they have learned to potentially scale solutions that address societal issues.
