The World Trade Organization (WTO) is the international body that oversees global trade rules. It was established in 1995 as the successor to GATT and is headquartered in Geneva with 164 member countries. The WTO aims to help producers conduct international business by negotiating trade agreements and resolving disputes between members.

Hurts poor and small countries in favour
of rich and powerful countries.
Tramples labour and human rights.
Increasing inequality.
Fundamentally democratic.
Small countries are powerless in this
forum but they are forced to join WTO.
