What is mechanical engineering? Many
people believe they have the answer to
what this simple question should ask, right?
However, in most cases they are usually
wrong with the description that gives this
concept , becoming interpreting it as that
profession that is responsible for repairing
cars, even in the 21st century, there is an
association of concepts between
automotive mechanics and mechanical
engineering.
First let's understand a key concept,
Mechanical Engineering is the discipline that
studies the movement of bodies, which is
the change of initial referential position that
a body has, up to an end point.

(1020-1101 a.C)
incorporated an escape
mechanism in his clock
towers two centuries
before any escape could be
found in the mediaeval
European watches, as well
as the first transmission
chain.

Why should I study mechanical engineering?
