This document discusses using online tools to help students plan projects and monitor progress in a workshop about facilitating student work with social software. It introduces Gliffy for online project planning, Google Calendar for reporting progress, and Google Docs & Spreadsheets for sharing and collaborating on documents. These tools allow students to work flexibly from anywhere, share and communicate in two ways, and save time and materials compared to traditional methods.
