Workshop 1A: To update members of the
RAC on the REA and affirm the NEA
Luzon RAC Agreements/Recommendations
1. Identified priority problems in Luzon:
a. high risk, high-impact infrastructures (megadams, roads,
etc);
b. disempowered communities and grassroot
organizations and limited opportunities in environmental
governance;
c. privatization of islets
Workshop 1A: To update members of the
RAC on the REA and affirm the NEA
Luzon RAC Agreements/Recommendations
2. The NEA should have additional section to cover
solutions (which is the agenda) in addition to the current
phrasing as environmental issues
3. Enhance consistency of language used (current issues
all problems but renewable energy is a solution)
4. Include objectives, timeframe, and definition of terms in
the NEA
