The work of the Drug Treatment and Testing Order II team. The focus is on an early intervention project which aims to positively intervene in the lives of service users to try to halt their journey through the criminal justice system. The project focuses on working with young people and women and engages them in treatment through intensive individual work, group work and on addressing social and welfare needs. The team is multidisciplinary and works in close partnership with a range of organisations. The workshop will look at the work of the team and will also challenge participants to examine their own views on this area of work.
