2. In social co-operatives, workers are not only important stakeholders but also a key resource for the
growth and development of the organization.
The health and economic crisis triggered by the spread of Covid-19 has severely affected the world
of work in general and several of the sectors in which social cooperatives operate.
For this reason, we (as Euricse) carried out a study of workers in Trentino social cooperatives using
both the INPS data and data collected through an online survey which involved a sample of workers
of social cooperatives based in the Trentino province.
The results presented in the following slides are preliminary and are a preview of the overall results
of the study that will be included in the new Euricse report on Trentino cooperatives to be published
in January 2022.

6. The data from INPS and data from the survey conducted on a sample of workers in
social cooperatives offers a fairly complete picture of the characteristics of workers
in these cooperatives and helps to better delineate and understand the
substantial characteristics and impact of Covid on workers.
It is now time of understanding and reflecting on
how the second and third waves of the pandemic affected working conditions,
in particular the levels of stress that many of the workers have experienced
during the last months, and
how co-operatives are organizing themselves to cope with the recovery phase
and if there might be some changes for workers as well.
