This voluntary position is for a Project Assistant at the United Sustainable Energy Agency to help complete the cRRescendo project by the end of July 2012. The assistant will conduct social research like investigating worker satisfaction in an efficient office building, revisiting residents to conduct follow-up surveys, and assisting with writing up findings. The preferred candidate will have interest and knowledge of sustainable energy and European projects, as well as skills in data analysis and Microsoft Office applications.

delivering the final requirements of the cRRescendo

About USEA:
A not for profit company providing services to the Public Sector, Business, and
individuals to help them reduce carbon, adapt to climate change and tackle fuel
poverty.
Main Duties:
The position will involve assisting with social research work for a European funded
project, cRRescendo (Combined Rational and Renewable Energy Strategies in Cities,
for Existing and New Dwellings to ensure Optimal quality of life). The project will
close at the end of July 2012.
cRRescendo aims to integrate sustainability into homes and energy infrastructures.
The project demonstrates how best to meet the citizens’ wishes of living in
comfortable energy efficient homes in a healthy and clean environment.
As a European project it essentially aims to implement modern, comfortable,
healthy, and energy efficient homes in the urban areas of Almere-Holland, Milton
Keynes-England, Viladecans-Spain and Ajaccio-Corsica.
