Back in July 2016, we hosted an educational event that featured 2 local solar installers plus Tesla Motors. The neighborhood got a chance to learn about how a few simple changes in their household can reduce energy, how solar energy works, and how electric vehicles are becoming more mainstream. Over 100 people attended the event. Many had a chance to ride in a Model S and Model X.

The neighborhood got a chance to learn about how a few simple changes in their household can reduce energy, how solar energy works, and how electric vehicles are becoming more mainstream. Carbon capture and storage technology promises to deliver fossil energy without the CO2. Able to capture and permanently sequester carbon emissions from power plants, oil field operations, or other concentrated sources of CO2, the technology may be a critical tool in efforts to build a lower-carbon energy system. With several large-scale demonstration projects now under construction or operational in the United States, Canada, Europe, and China, we'll discuss the promise and potential of carbon capture technology, what it will take to bring down the cost of these technologies, and take a close look at some of the large-scale demonstrations now underway.

cRRescendo aims to integrate sustainability into homes and energy infrastructures.
The project demonstrates how best to meet the citizens’ wishes of living in

healthy, and energy efficient homes in the urban areas of Almere-Holland, Milton
Keynes-England, Viladecans-Spain and Ajaccio-Corsica.
