Students will be introduced to 10 new vocabulary words every other week from the Wordly Wise book and will spend approximately two weeks learning the words using various strategies to help recall. The homework assigned each week will involve reviewing word definitions, completing online activities, drawing pictures to illustrate word meanings, and creating original sentences using the vocabulary words. Parents are asked to contact the teacher if their child has trouble completing the review activities and are thanked in advance for their support of their child's vocabulary development.
