 The European Centre for Women and Technology (ECWT) is a multi-stakeholder
partnership representing high-level expertise in women and technology
development from government, business, academia and non-profit sectors- the
main knowledge hub on the women in technology agenda in Europe.
 ECWT has in short time developed to be a key intermediator for interaction 13
between Quadruple Helix actors and has successfully integrated bottom-up
initiatives.
 More than 130 member organizations and 18 National Point of Contacts in
Europe and leader of a global collaboration between regional centers in Asia-
Pacific (Ballerat, Australia), Latin-America (Buenos Aires) and Women in the Arab
world (Dubai, and AWS Rabat 2012)

2014), the largest and most strategic project in
science education undertaken in Europe.
inGenious is carried out through a partnership of 26 partners from 16
countries, including 7 major industries and supported with a grant of €8 million
from the European Commission’s 7th Framework Program over a 3-year period.
inGenious is the European Coordinating Body in Science, Technology, Engineering
and Mathematics (STEM). It is a joint initiative launched by European Schoolnet
and the European Roundtable of Industrialists (ERT) aiming to reinforce young
Europeans’ interest in science education and careers and thus address the future
skills gap.
inGenious has the objective to increase the links between science education and
careers, by involving up to 1,000 classrooms throughout Europe.¨
