Without having any background knowledge on the situation of Governor Bob Riley and his efforts to implement a sweeping tax reform on the State of Alabama, there are some significant things that caught my attention within the video. The State of Alabama was already experiencing major deficit and a lower class population which was severely affected by the suffering education system in turn contributing to a population which would have difficulty moving up in class. It seems that there were not many options available to the State of Alabama; either a sweeping reform which would significantly increase taxes (though Riley assigned these hikes to the wealthy) or significant budget cuts which would affect some already suffering divisions funded by the budget.
In an effort to persuade the voters to support and vote yes for his reform, Bob Riley fell back on political jockeying. He used religion to encourage people to follow the plan he was pushing for. Within his political messages he stated the Christian way to handle the deficit was to tax the wealthy because his Testament reveals that the rich should take care of the less fortunate.
Is political jockeying an appropriate method in government? Should it be present in the development of state budgets, executive activity, or legislative activity? I think to an extent it may sometimes be acceptable. But the means that should be used to persuade voters on policies should be facts and statistical information which supports what will occur with a policy. And perhaps more of an explanation of a personal opinion. I think the efforts used in Riley’s scenario almost placed a guilt on others. The interesting thing about his political jockeying efforts is that the population that was being targeted to benefit the most were the ones who seem to have opposed his reform during the voting process.

· Their weakness lies in not having all information at once. Since there are normally multiple individuals working in this department, each individual may have various pieces of the financial puzzle, but few have the ability to see it all.
Clinical View
· The clinical view is normally held by those who are responsible for the day to day interactions of the patients and are usually the licensed healthcare professionals.
· Their strength lies in their desire to ensure the best possible outcome for the patient and they generally serve as the patients’ advocate.
· Their weakness may actually be the same as their strength. Many clinical individuals want to provide the best for their patients, regardless of cost. Therefore, they may have a difficult time balancing the needs of the patients with the needs of the organization.
There are strengths and weaknesses to each viewpoint. Perhaps the ideal viewpoint would be where these three perspectives overlap. However, it is certainly not an easy task. Being able to see through each one of these lenses requires that the individual manager be in constant communication with other departments. While it may not be possible to fully integrate all three perspectives, being aware of them better prepares the manager to meet both patient and organizational objectives.

Making a connection and continuing that connection at all times. I believe with the technology available today, teleconferencing, videoconferencing and real-time communications by phone, that leadership can build as meaningful a relationship with remote workers as with in house workers. Remote workers want their tasks communicated well to them and they want the tools they need to get their jobs done. quality, water security is becoming a key concern in most societies around the
world. Typically, water security is about ensuring that everyone in the society is
accessing to adequate and safe water at an affordable price to enhance health,
productive and dignified life (Rinkesh, 2018). Water security ensures that the
ecological systems are maintained appropriately, hence, leading to sustainable
development. If access to water is messed up, societies are largely affected and are
at risk of transmitting diseases and even dying. In fact, the growing water demands
and changing water supplies due to climate change have caused water scarcity.
Unless action is implemented soon, it could cost some societies up to 8% of their
GDP by 2050 (Castelo, 2018). Addressing this issue requires a proper and feasible
solution, which can be applied in any region. That being said, this paper focuses on
water security issue in Italy and presents an individually-tailored solution for
addressing this issue.
In recent years, water supply is becoming a social and economic issue in
Italy, primarily because of increasing water demand and poor management
practices. While Italy has been experiencing rapid population growth, water
scarcity can be highly related to the effects of climate change on water resources
across regions in the country. These impacts have led to reductions in quantity,
quality, and availability of water, with rising frequency and intensity of droughts,
particularly in summer. There have been increased rate and severity of river flow
droughts, with yearly river flow decrease by up to 80% (Climatechangepost, 2019).
Besides, the recharge of groundwater demonstrates a decreasing trend, with
resultant reduction of fresh groundwater resources, specifically in coastal regions.
With these conditions, there is no adequate and accessible water for people, which
poses an acute risk of poor health and decreased sustainable development.
It should be noted that water is at the core of sustainable growth and is
essential for socio-economic development, food, and energy production, and for
human existence itself. Therefore, as the issue of water scarcity continues to
escalate in Italy, it is crucial to develop and implement an appropriate solution. In
particular, Italy should focus on efforts to recharge groundwater, mainly in areas
where water scarcity is prevailing. Artificial groundwater recharging has been
proven to be one of the most effective approaches to solving water scarcity in many
regions (Castelo, 2018). As such, the process of recharge can either be a natural
process or human-induced process in the hydrological cycle. The government and
relevant agencies can inject wells in different areas or spread basins, with measures
for controlling waste disposal and irrigation.

However, the book breaks them down well and shows different ways in which to recognize and analyze these elements. Style is something we are highly attuned to. We all have our own personal clothing style, speaking style, and even academic style - we study differently, think about how classes should be differently, respond to different teaching methods differently, and have different expectations about what a class should be. Trust me, this is something I am well aware of. What we often don't know is where these expectations and choices come from. It is especially difficult for us to question our own preferences when it comes to style, but it is also difficult to understand other people's choices. The important thing to have when it comes to style is an open mind. It is helpful to give people the benefit of the doubt and open ourselves up to different styles. We should always be in a conversation with an author. Why has the author chose a specific style? Why has an author left so much out? Sometimes we get unsettled by having to answer questions about a work because they don't answer them for us. However, if we understand an author's choices as an aspect of style, we can go ahead and assume there is a plan there. All we are left with is what is there. So we break that down into categories and look for important comparisons and relationships among these component pieces that may give us a clue as to what it is an author had in mind. This will be especially important when we get to poetry. Poetry is in many ways the art of leaving out everything but the absolute essentials. It is meant to bring us out of our comfort zone and force us to have an experience that we may not be comfortable with. We are left on our own to build something and to examine something and especially to question something. This is an important skill in the academic world. It is a process of creation. It is less about achieving some kind of goal and more about having an experience. That can be unsettling for students who often want things to be black and white, right or wrong.
