The EC wrote to central government: “In a situation

11. Air India to be privatised
The Central government is mulling for
the privitisation of the national carrier
‘Air India’. The Tata group is open to
purchasing stake in Air India, which JRD
Tata launched in 1932. If the talks fructify,
the national carrier’s history may come
full circle. The Tata group is believed to
have held preliminary discussions with the
senior government officials for participating
in the privatisation process. It is not known
whether the talks were held at the behest
of the government or the Tata group.

Lashkar commander Junaid Mattu, Nisar Ahmed and
a third militant were gunned down in a joint operation
involving the Indian Army, Special Operations Group
(SOG) and the CRPF. Bodies of the three militants were
recovered from Arwani in south Kashmir’s Anantnag
district. Three weapons, including AK 47 guns and
six magazines were recovered from them. While this

India-China standoff
Face-offs between Chinese and Indian troops over the
road construction on the borders of a 269-sq km plateau in
Bhutan claimed by China has sparked off the worst crisis
in relations between New Delhi and Beijing. “Even though
India has long had a presence along the Bhutan-China
border, it has never acted in defence of its ally’s interests.
The Chinese are very upset by the Indian assertion and
are seeking to push back against what they see as a line
having been crossed,” a senior Indian official said.

Nakula and Sahadev.
These five children were the
Pandava brothers.
Eventually, Pandu attempted
to have sex with Madri and
immediately died from the
curse. Madri killed herself
in the funeral pyre, but
Kunti lived on to care for the
children. She and her sons
moved into the palace of
Dhritarastra, provoking scorn
and jealousy among the
hundred Kauravas. Her son
Bhima caused problems with
the other children, because
he was a bully. In retaliation,
the Kaurava brothers once
tied him up and threw him
in the ocean, but Bhima
returned with added siddhis
(yogic powers), annoying
them all the more.
At this time Grandfather
Bhisma enrolled the
Pandava and Kaurava
brothers in archery training
under the renowned archer,
Drona. At the end of their
lessons, Arjuna ranked
first place in Drona’s tests
and this was another factor
to incite jealousy in the
Kauravas. As a final request
to his students (guru-
dakshine), Drona asked
them to arrest a neighboring
king, Drupada, and bring
him there for justice. The
Kauravas failed, but Arjuna
succeeded, increasing the
Pandava’s status.
When their training as
princes ended, Dhritarashtra
acknowledged Yudhistira,
Kunti’s eldest son, as the
heir-apparent to the throne.
Dhritarastra’s move was
an indirect insult to his
eldest son, Duryodhana,
whom he considered a
buffoon. This angered
the Kauravas, moving the
family deeper into conflict
that would eventually
erupt in a devastating war,
which was the basis of the
most fundamental stories
Mahabharata and Bhagavad-
gita.
Krishna was also Kunti’s
nephew, because her
brother, Vasudeva, was
Krishna’s father. Kunti grew
up away from her family, in
the palace of Kuntibhoja,
her cousin. When she was a
child, Kunti had pleased the
powerful sage Durvasa Muni,
who gave her a mantra that
would allow her to conceive
five sons from the demigods.
She tested the mantra and
the sun god gave her Karna,
whom she secretly set afloat
in a river. Karna grew up to
become a great warrior for
the Kauravas, and Kunti later
revealed that she was his
real mother.
When Kunti married Pandu
she used the mantra to have
three more sons: Yudhistira,
Bhima, and Arjuna. Pandu
was cursed to die if he ever
tried to have sex with his
wives, so he was glad Kunti
could obtain sons from the
demigods. He asked her
to give the last chance to
his other wife Madri, who
subsequently had twins,
In the time of Krishna, the blind King Dhritarastra headed the
lunar dynasty in Hastinapur. His wife, Queen Gandhari, had
one hundred sons called the Kauravas, the eldest of whom
was Duryodhana. Also in the royal palace were Grandfather
Bhisma, the king’s uncle and Queen Kunti and her five sons.
Kunti’s late husband, Pandu, was King Dhritarastra’s brother, so
the Kauravas were her nephews.

healthy living
Successfully fit people are successful not because of
good luck, birth order or family heritage, but because
they have adopted the right habits. People suggest
that by emulating the habits of successful people,
anyone can enjoy the life he or she desires. Learn the
habits, adopt the habits, practice the habits, enjoy the
success.
HEALTHY LIVING
33. JULY 2017 | WWW.WISHESH.COM
Here are some tips to have
a successful healthy living:
Stick to the Same “Daily Menu”: It
allows “careful” eaters to predict
their daily calorie allotment. The
most fit among us are entrenched
in habit, including the habit of taste.
Effortlessly fit folks are in tune with
the energy and calorie needs of their
bodies.
Eat Breakfast: People who
successfully lose weight are the
ones that wake up and eat. People
who eat breakfast regularly have
better vitamin and mineral status
and eat fewer calories from fat. The
majority of the people who struggle
with overeating are those who under-
eat during the first part of the day,
specifically those who skip breakfast.
Breakfast is the most important meal
of the day.
Drink Water: Drinking enough
water is a vital part of any
conditioning program because it
keeps your body functioning in
homeostasis and aids every aspect
of bodily function.
Eat Small And Often: Eating
small meals more often reduces
cortisol levels. When you eat small,
frequent meals long term, the body
becomes efficient at keeping cortisol
levels low, which helps both men
and women reduce belly fat.
Eat Whole Foods First:
Successfully fit people tend to eat
mainly whole, unprocessed foods,
including fruits, veggies, and whole
grains. Eating mostly low-density
foods is the easiest way to keep
your weight in check without feeling
hungry.
People suggest that by emulating
the habits of successful people,
anyone can enjoy the life he or
she desires. Learn the habits, adopt
the habits, practice the habits,
enjoy the success.

Bismil was one of the founding

him as a great poet-writer in Urdu and
Hindi, who had also translated the
books Catherine from English and
Bolshevikon Ki Kartoot from Bengali.
Ram Prasad Bismil, was a Tomar
Rajput and was born on 12 June

He learnt Hindi from his father at

from a moulvi. He was admitted to an
English-language school, despite his

father’s disapproval and also
had joined the Arya Samaj in
Shahjahanpur.
As an 18-year-old student,
Bismil read of the death
sentence passed on Bhai
Parmanand, a scholar and
companion of Har Dayal. At
that time he was regularly
attending the Arya Samaj
Temple at Shahjahanpur
daily, where Swami Somdev,
a friend of Paramanand,
was staying. Angered by the
sentence, Bismil composed
a poem in Hindi titled Mera
Janm, which he showed
to Somdev. This poem
demonstrated a commitment
to remove the British control
over India.
On 28 January 1918, Bismil
published a pamphlet titled
Deshvasiyon Ke Nam
Sandesh (A Message to
Countrymen), which he
distributed along with his
poem Mainpuri Ki Pratigya
(Vow of Mainpuri). To collect
funds for the party looting
was undertaken on three
occasions in 1918. The
incident is known as the
“Mainpuri Conspiracy”.
On 1 November 1919
the Judiciary Magistrate
of Mainpuri B. S. Chris
announced the judgement
against all accused and
declared Dixit and Bismil as
absconders.
In 1921, Bismil played an
active role in the Congress
with Maulana Hasrat Mohani
and got the most debated
proposal of Poorna Swaraj
passed in the General
Body meeting of Congress.
Mohandas K. Gandhi, was
not in the favour of this
proposal.
In February 1922 some
agitating farmers were
killed in Chauri Chaura

station of Chauri Chaura
was attacked by the people
and 22 policemen were
burnt alive. Gandhi, without
ascertaining the facts behind
this incident, declared an
immediate stop the non-
co-operation movement.
Bismil and his group of
youths strongly opposed
Gandhi in the Gaya session
of Indian National Congress
(1922). Gandhi refused to
rescind his decision and
then president Chittranjan
Das resigned and the Indian
National Congress was
divided into two groups – the
Naram Dal and the Garam
Dal. In January 1923, the
rich group of party formed
a new Swaraj Party under
the joint leadership of Moti
Lal Nehru and Chittranjan
Das and the youth group
formed a revolutionary party
- Hindustan Republican
Association (HRA) under the
leadership of Bismil.
Bismil executed a
meticulous plan for looting
the government treasury
carried in a train at Kakori,
near Lucknow in U.P. This
historical event happened on
9 August 1925 and is known
as the Kakori conspiracy.
Following 18 months of legal

Khan, Roshan Singh and
Rajendra Nath Lahiri were
sentenced to death. Bismil
was hanged on 19 December
1927 at Gorakhpur Jail,
Ashfaqulla Khan at the

LORD VISHNU POSE
INDIAN YOGA
The side reclining leg lift pose in yoga, is known as the
‘Vishnu pose’ or Anantasana, is a core-balancing pose that
concentrates mainly on the pelvic region. Regular practice
of this posture helps in toning the abdominal muscles and
strengthens and stretches the sides of the body and the
back of the legs.
“ “
Bend your right elbow and
support your head in your palm.
Slide the elbow away from your
torso to stretch the armpit.
Externally rotate your left leg so
the toes point toward the ceiling,
then bend and draw the knee
toward your torso.
Reach across the inside of the
leg and take hold of the left big
toe with your index and middle
fingers.

54
How to do
Lie on the floor on your right.
Press actively through your right
heel, flex the ankle and use the
outside of the foot to stabilize the
position.
Stretch your right arm straight out
along the floor parallel to your torso
so that you create one long line
from the heels to your finger tips.
55. Secure the grip by wrapping the
thumb around the two fingers.
On an inhale, extend the leg up
toward the ceiling.
The raised leg will likely angle
slightly forward, while the top
buttock will drop back.
Firm the sacrum against the pelvis;
this creates a kind of fulcrum that
will help you move the leg slightly
back toward a perpendicular
position.
Press actively through both heels.
Stay in the pose for 30 seconds to 1
minute, then release the leg, take a
few breaths, and roll over onto your
left side.
Repeat for the same length of time.
Benefits:
Anantasana helps in toning the
abdominal muscles.
It stretches and strengthens the
sides of the torso.
It increases the flexibility of the
spine and muscles in the legs.
The hamstrings are stretched and
strengthened, which increases their
efficiency.
It reduces the obesity of the hips
and thighs through the stretching
action.
It promotes better blood circulation
in the leg muscles.
It also helps in the development of
the pelvic region.
It helps prevent problems like hernia
by toning muscles.
It also helps in improving overall
body balance.

A successful family can be a source of emotional
support, love, security and protection, which makes the
challenges and trials of day-to-day living easier to
face. Children flourish when they feel loved, nurtured
and supported by their parents and siblings. A good
family can even have positive effects on physical and
mental health, including improving blood pressure and
increasing life expectancy.
RELATIONSHIP
Good family relationships
have other reasons too:
1. Make children feel secure and loved, which
helps their brains develop
2. Can help to overcome difficulties with
children’s eating, sleeping, learning and
behaviour
3. Make it easier for the family to solve
problems and resolve conflict
4. Help you and your children to respect
differences of opinion as your children
develop more independence
5. Give children the skills they need
to build healthy relationships of their
own.
Make quality time happen in
your family:
1. Use everyday time together to talk
and share a laugh.
2. Have one-on-one chats with
each family member to strengthen
individual relationships.
61. JULY 2017 | WWW.WISHESH.COM
3. Set aside time with your partner and
explain to your children that it’s good
for your relationship with your partner
to have this quality time together.
4. Do regular, fun things together as a
family.
5. Make decisions together about what
to do for special events like birthdays.
Positive communication ideas
to strengthen your family
relationships:
1. When your child or partner wants to
talk, stop what you’re doing and listen
with full attention.
2. Be open to talking about difficult
things – like admitting to mistakes – and
all kinds of feelings, including anger,
joy, frustration, fear and anxiety.
3. Be ready for spontaneous
conversations.
4. Plan for difficult conversations,
especially with teenagers.
5. Encourage your children and
partner with praise.
6. Show appreciation, love and
encouragement through words and
affection.
Encourage teamwork:
1. Share household chores.
2. Include children in decisions about
things like family activities, rules and
holidays.
3. Let children make some of their
own decisions.
4. Create family rules that state
clearly how your family wants to look
after and treat its members.
5. Work together to solve problems.

Tips for a Successful
Teenage Romance
Most teenage relationships are normal and
healthy. Once a teenager is in a relationship,
it should continue to be enjoyable. They enjoy
being together, they may be each other’s
confidante, but you should also see your teenager
is continuing to maintain his or her relationships
with other friends and still doing the other things
they were doing before this romantic relationship,
including sports or other interests. In other words,
the romance doesn’t interfere with normal life. It’s
an additional, enjoyable part of life.
LOVE & ROMANCE
63. JULY 2017 | WWW.WISHESH.COM
Here are somethings to
be done for a successful
teenage romance
Don’t forget your existing
friends: Some people will drop
all their friends after they start
dating someone. No one wants
a friend who will throw her over
for someone else, and you still
need a social life outside
your boyfriend or girlfriend.
Be your own person: It’s
natural to share interests
with the person you’re
dating, but you also need to
keep developing an identity
outside of that person, too.
It will improve your self-
esteem and being confident
in yourself makes you more
likely to be confident in your
relationship.
Don’t run away from
problems: If you encounter a
problem in your relationship,
don’t panic. Problems only
get bigger when people
hide from them. Talk about
it together and try to fix it
together. Working through
problems is going to be part of
any good relationship.
Know the difference
between good and bad
conflict: Conflict can even
bring a couple closer together
if they are able to stick to the
rules during a disagreement.
Don’t look squeamish: You
may be feeling awkward
while talking about romantic
relationships to your teen, but
do your best to be comfortable
during any talks. If you look too
worried or negative your teen
may be less likely to come to
you if they want to talk.
In other words,
the romance
doesn’t interfere
with normal
life. It’s an
additional,
enjoyable part
of life.

Consequently, Chanderi
became an important military

History of
Mauryan empire
INDIAN HISTORY
After Alexander went back to Babylon in 324 BC,
Chandragupta was able to overthrow the old Aryan
kingdom of Nanda and form a big new empire over all
of northern India and into Afghanistan. When people
asked him how he had done it, he said that he got the
idea from Alexander.
69. JULY 2017 | WWW.WISHESH.COM
Chandragupta conquered
the Indus valley back
from the Greeks and as
part of the peace treaty
he married the daughter
of Seleucus, who had
succeeded Alexander.
The Nanda King,
Dhanananda, had
by his tyrannical
ways created many
enemies and one of
these, a proud and
fiery man of the high
Brahmin class whom
he had thoughtlessly
insulted in Court, was
to soon enough cause his
ruin. This was Chanakya,
who, under the pseudonym
Kautilya, later wrote
the famous political
book ‘Arthashastra’.
An unforgiving
opponent, he
had vowed not
to tie his hair in
the customary
Brahminical top-
knot until he had
avenged his insult.
This didn’t particularly
worry Dhanananda, what
could a single Brahmin do
anyway? He exiled him
from Pataliputra and
considered it the end
of the matter.
Travelling in
exile through the
Vindya mountains
afterwards,
Chanakya met
Chandragupta
Maurya, a young man who
too had deep personal
grudges against the Nandas.
Chandragupta Maurya’s
background is obscure. He
was either the son of a Nanda
prince and a maid-servant
called Mura or came from
the Moriya Tribe of Peacock-
tamers; the last might explain
why the Peacock later on
became his principal emblem.
Chandragupta’s spirited
personality impresssed
Chanakya and he decided
that he would make a
far better King than the
oppressive and debauched
Dhanananda.
Together they set about
provoking the people
of Magadha against
Dhanananda and as there
happened to be many
amongst the populace that
Dhanananda had offended
in some way, it was not long
before they had managed to
amass a considerable force.
The new Mauryan Army was
still numerically inferior to
that of Dhanananda, but,
under its inspired leaders,
lacked neither in courage
nor persistence. Which
was just as well as success
came only after many
severe setbacks and also
apparently after Chanakya
overheard a mother telling
her child to eat his hot meal
from the sides inwards.
Taking hint, the Mauryan
Army stopped trying to
seize Pataliputra and began
attacking first the outlying
regions of Magadha instead.
The tide turned in their favor
now.
By 321 B.C. Chandragupta
had succeeded the Nandas
and the long reign of the
Mauryans had begun. The
advent of the Mauryans
brought them into conflict
next with the Greek General
Seleucus I Nicator, who had
inherited both Alexander’s
Asian holdings and his

Empire-building dreams.
These, Chandragupta
shattered in 303 B.C. The
resulting treaty gave the
loser 500 war-elephants
and granted to the victorious
Changragupta the Seleucid
Provinces of Trans-Indus
(Afghanistan), Seleucus’s
daughter Helen in marriage
and the future Court presence
of the Seleucid Ambassador
Megasthenes. The latter’s
fascinating account of his
tenure, ‘Indika’, has survived
in fragments down the
centuries.
Extending from Afghanistan
to Bengal to Mysore, the
Mauryan Empire became
the subcontinent’s first
centralized power and also
its most extraordinarily well-
administered one, guided as
it was by the authoritarian
State-craft philosophy of
Chanakya’s ‘Arthashastra’.
The State owned all the
farms, forests, mines and
industries, maintained a
standing army and efficient
spy system, followed a fair
strict judicial policy and a
free religious one, had trade
and diplomatic relations with
foreign powers like Egypt,
Syria, Rome, Greece, and
China, encouraged art and
culture and patronized the
famous Universities of Taxila
and Pataliputra. The citizens,
in general, were prosperous
and content and remained so
for the next 136 years.
Chandragupta was succeeded
by his son Bindusara who also
proved to be an able ruler and
greatly extended the Empire’s
boundaries. His successor
was Ashoka, who, according
to legend, came to the throne
after a fratricidal struggle
for ascension and seemed
initially atleast to be as much
of an Empire-builder as his
predecessors. However, he
changed tracks after a savage
war with the Kalinga Empire
that took an unprecedented toll
of life and property.
Racked with guilt, Ashoka
forswore war and adopted
the tenets of Buddhism. The
most religious person, they
say, is the newest convert, and
Ashoka was no exception to
this. The rest of his reign was
spent in taking comprehensive
steps to propagate Buddhism
throughout the Indian
subcontinent and also
abroad. He established tree-
lined highways, rest-houses,
schools, colleges, even
veterinary clinics, gave alms
to the poor and the sick and
did many other things that
he thought would benefit his
subjects.
He is considered the greatest
of the Mauryan Kings. There
was a downside to all this
unlimited benevolence
though. By choosing
Buddhism over warfare
and rejecting the practical
Arthashastra policies, he
unfortunately weakened the
kingdom for his descendants,
and they, far less capable
men, were unable to cope
with the disintegrating
forces. In 185 B.C., with the
murder of the last Emperor,
Brihadratha, the Mauryan
Empire came to extinct.
Racked with
guilt, Ashoka
forswore war
and adopted
the tenets of
Buddhism. The
most religious
person, they say,
is the newest
convert, and
Ashoka was no
exception to this.

The launch of indigenous rocket GSLV Mk III, which
is said to be as heavy as 200 adult elephants, on June

as it would make ISRO capable of sending humans
into space. Currently, only three countries—US, Russia
and China—have the capability of launching manned
missions.

ISRO chairman Kiran Kumar said,
“GSLV Mk III could in principle be used
for manned mission.” GSLV Mk III, also
called Isro’s ‘fat boy’ as it is the country’s
heaviest (weighing 640 tonnes) but
smallest rocket (43 metre), will have a
new and advanced indigenous cryogenic
engine to lift it off to the geostationary
orbit.
ISRO chairman said, “Until we get the
final approval from the government,
Isro won’t work on the manned mission.
Our key priority is to meet the national
demand of providing more number
of satellites into orbits in the field of
communication, remote sensing and
navigation. Therefore, we are focusing
on increasing our launch capacities both
in lower and geostationary orbits and to
make our launches cost-effective.”
About the Launch Vehicle
GSLV Mk III is a three-stage heavy lift
launch vehicle developed by ISRO. The
vehicle has two solid strap-ons, a core
liquid booster and a cryogenic upper
stage.
GSLV Mk III is designed to carry 4 ton
class of satellites into Geosynchronous
Transfer Orbit (GTO) or about 10 tons to
Low Earth Orbit (LEO), which is about
twice the capability of GSLV Mk II.
The two strap-on motors of GSLV Mk
III are located on either side of its core
liquid booster. Designated as ‘S200’,
each carries 205 tons of composite solid
propellant and their ignition results in
vehicle lift -off . S200s function for 140
TECHNOLOGY seconds. During strap-ons functioning
phase, the two clustered Vikas liquid
Engines of L110 liquid core booster
will ignite 114 sec after lift -off to
further augment the thrust of the
vehicle. These two engines continue
to function after the separation of the
strap-ons at about 140 seconds after
lift -off.
The first experimental flight of LVM3,
the LVM3-X/CARE mission lifted
off from Sriharikota on December
18, 2014 and successfully tested
the atmospheric phase of flight.
Crew module Atmospheric Reentry
Experiment was also carried out in this
flight. The module reentered, deployed
its parachutes as planned and
splashed down in the Bay of Bengal.
The first developmental flight of
GSLV Mk III, the GSLV-Mk III-D1

Verse meaning
O best among men [Arjuna],
the person who is not disturbed
by happiness and distress and
is steady in both is certainly
eligible for liberation.
Explanation
Anyone who is steady in his
determination for the advanced
stage of spiritual realization
and can equally tolerate
the onslaughts of distress
and happiness is certainly a
person eligible for liberation.
Rather than attempting to
adopt a technique or remedy
to try to purify the contacts
of the senses with the sense
objects; one should simply
tolerate them as this leads to
prodigious results.
One without attachment to
the senses does not grieve.
Inside one is equipoised and
peaceful. Contrarily by being
attached to the physical body
everything is influenced by
sorrow. The adjective purusa is
used when one is not subject
to sorrow.
Not by the merely being
equipoised and dispelling all
sorrow does one become self
realised; but this indicates the
correct process. When one has
relinquished all conceptions of
being the physical body one
becomes naturally filled with
the spiritual attributes that are
inherent of the soul.
Lord Krishna explains that one
who is performing their natural
duty in life which is prescribed
in the Vedic scriptures
according to their own individual
qualifications, without desiring
any gratification for their
actions; what then can deter this
living entity and cause them to
deviate irresponsibly.
The spiritually intelligent, living
entity, possessing patience,
whom remains equal in
happiness and unhappiness
becomes eligible for immortality,
by which life’s highest goal is
acquired of ones individual
spiritual nature devoid of the
imperfections connected with
the physical body such as of old
age, disease and death.

Story :
Behen Hogi Teri is all about
Gattu (Rajkumar Rao) who
falls in love with Binny (Shruti
Haasan). The duo stay in the
same neighbourhood and
everyone appeals that the
girls in their locality should be
treated as their own sisters.
In a shocking incident, Gattu
proposes to Binny who never
accepts him neither rejects
him. With number of issues
increasing and binny irritating
Gattu, things change completely.
The rest of Behen Hogi Teri is all
about what happens next.
Analysis :
The first half of Behen Hogi Teri
has been dencent and engaging
with some impressive entertainment
throughout. Rajkumar Rao takes
many episodes to the next level
and some of the interesting scenes
make Behen Hogi Teri decent. Most
of logics have been well written
throughout the first half. The movie
looks natural with many colony
episodes and many interesting
characters coming around. On the
whole the first half of Behen Hogi Teri
has been convincing.
The second half of Behen Hogi Teri
surprisingly makes no impact on
the audience. The major plot has
been sidelined and Behen Hogi Teri
loses the needed grip. After such a
decent first half, the second half gets
hammered after the plot misses the
major logic. After the audience get
irritated completely, the film inches
towards completion. On the whole the
second half of Behen Hogi Teri falls
flat.
Final Word:
Behen Hogi Teri is a huge misfire as
it lacks an interesting and engaging
second half. Though the lead actors
excel, that alone cannot save the film
from a debacle.

Story :
Raabta is the story of Shiv
(Sushant Singh Rajput) who
moves to Budapest after which
he falls for Saira (Kriti Sanon)
instantly on the first sight. He
finally convinces and by the
time Saira falls for Shiv, the
third character Zak (Jim Sarbh)
who is a liquor baron. He is fond
of Saira and is obessed with
her after several rejections. It
is during this time Saira starts
thinking about how her bond
with Shiv seems beyond the
transcends of time and decades.
The rest of Raabta is all about
the past and what happens next.
Watch the film to know about
many interesting facts.
Analysis :
Raabta has some interesting
moments and the romantic
episodes which will sure impress
a set of young audience. But this
alone is not enough for a film to
end up impressive. Raabta has
many poorly written episodes and
most of them look fake. Things
change within fraction of seconds
and the film switches a romantic
saga to the deadly Game of
Thrones which is something hard
to digest. The songs have been
decent but the characters have
not been linked good. With many
flaws, the first half of Raabta tries
hard to convince the audience.
At the same time, the second
half of Raabta too suffers huge
lag because of the poor writing
and narration skills. Most of the
episodes have been loosely
executed and looks outdated.
Sushant Singh Rajput seems
hyper active in many of the
episodes and some of the
characters have been utterly
wasted. Jim Sarbh has been
extremely stupendous on screen
but his character has not been
written well. With a poor second
half, Raabta ends up on a dull
note and it completely fails to
impress the audience.
Final Word:
Raabta is a film that fails to stand
balancing with the cross over
love stories. A film that can be
given a skip because of its flaws
and badly written screenplay.

Story :
Tubelight is the story of two
brothers Bharat (Sohail Khan)
and Laxman (Salman Khan)
who are orphans. They share a
close bonding with each other
that they live for each other.
Things change completely after
Bharat joins army and heads
for the India – China war. This is
during this time, Laxman misses
his brother badly and starts
his journey for him. The rest of
the film is all about the people
he meets and bonds during
this journey. Watch Tubelight
to know if Laxman meets his
brother Bharat.
Analysis :
The first half of Tubelight
manages to build the characters
of the film. The narration has
been dead slow that it leaves the
audience irritated. Though the
film lacks interesting plot, Kabir
Khan manages to narrate the
film depending on the bonding
between two brothers. Salman
has been showcased in a never
seen dull character which may
not be digested by most of the
audience and his fans. The first
half of Tubelight offers nothing.
The second half which is quite
crucial too manages to stand
dull and makes no impact all
over. The songs look completely
outdated and they test the
patience of the audience. The
unwanted characters kill the
film’s flavour completely and
Tubelight on the whole fails in
all the available ways to impress
the audience. With a routine and
predictable climax, Tubelight
second half is a massive
disappointment.
Final Word:
Tubelight is a film that can be
given a huge skip as the film
fails in all the available ways in
keeping the audience engaging.
Salman’s characterization pulls
down Tubelight by miles.

Duvvada Jagannadham is the
story of Jagannadha Sastry
(Allu Arjun) who hails from
a Brahmin family residing in
Vijayawada. An unexpected
incident shatters him after
which he turns DJ. The rest
of the film is all about DJ
and about his sacrifice for
his family. He falls in love
with Pooja (Pooja Hegde)
and Duvvada Jagannadham
narrates how DJ wins his love
for Pooja. Watch the film to
know about the rest.
Analysis :
Duvvada Jagannadham
has no interesting plot and
Harish Shankar tried out his
best to elevate the character
of Allu Arjun showcasing
him as a Brahmin. Except
some interesting episodes,
Duvvada Jagannadham
looks completely predictable
and outdated. The dose of
Brahmin accent and the
presentation of Allu Arjun
irritates the audience to the
core.
Some of the catchy dialogues
have been repeated number
of times that they make no
impact on the audience. The
songs too look pretty average
though lavish sets have been
erected for the film. The pre-
climax action episode has
been shot well and the climax
looks ok. On the whole,
Duvvada Jagannadham
fails in all the available
ways in emerging out as a
blockbuster.
Final Word:
Duvvada Jagannadham has
a rountine plot and decent
execution throughout which
makes the film passable. Allu
Arjun tops the show.

Marakathamani is all about an
ancient diamond with the same
name. All those who plan to
steal the precious stone get
killed in mysterious situations.
It is during this time Aadi (Aadi
Pinisetty), a small thief starts
hunting for Marakathamani.
With the support of a priest, he
takes the support of some evil
spirits to stay alive. The rest of
Marakathamani is all about the
process of Aadi’s journey with
Marakathamani. Watch the film
to know about many interesting
facts.
Analysis :
The first half of Marakathamani
starts on a slow note and it
takes much time for the real
plot to be unveiled. Though the
entertainment has been decent,
the film has many unwanted
episodes will kill the curiosity
among the audience. It is during
the interval, the major plot gets
unfolded and it turns interesting.
Aadi leads the show with his
flawless performance and the
love story looks fresh.
The second half of
Marakathamani too has many
unwanted episodes. The major
plot has been kept aside for
most of the time and the most
interesting episodes have been
hurried up. The pre-climax
episodes look promising and by
the time the film turns interesting
again, the climax inches. The
villain’s thread looks completely
silly which kills the film’s flavour
completely.
Final Word:
Marakathamani is one film which
has an interesting plot but it is the
poor narration and writing skills
which kill the film’s flavour. Aadi
excels in his assigned role.
