Decision-Making
A. Strong atmosphere of prayer
James 1:5
If any of you lacks wisdom, he should
ask God, who gives generously to all
without finding fault, and it will be
given to him.
Matthew 18:19
"Again, I tell you that if two of you on
earth agree about anything you ask for,
it will be done for you by my Father in
heaven.
B. Clear Words of God are followed
and must never be violated
Psalm 119:1
Blessed are they whose ways are
blameless, who walk according to
the law of the LORD.

Your commands make me wiser
than my enemies for they are ever
with me.
C. Confirmation of Critical
Decision by God-given authorities
and godly leaders
Proverbs 12:15
The way of a fool seems right to him,
but a wise man listens to advice.
Proverbs 20:18
Make plans by seeking advice; if you
wage war, obtain guidance.

2. Seek the opinions of the
family with clear explanations
of advantages
James 3:17
But the wisdom that comes
from heaven is first of all pure;
then peace-loving, considerate,
submissive, full of mercy and
good fruit, impartial and sincere.
3. Delay making final decisions
when opinions are differing and
opposing for more prayer
Isaiah 64:4
Since ancient times no one has heard,
no ear has perceived, no eye has seen
any God besides you, who acts on
behalf of those who wait for him.
NOTE: Waiting in prayer while walking in
obedience is necessary for God's work and
blessing
1 Peter 3:7
Husbands, in the same way be
considerate as you live with your
wives, and treat them with respect as
the weaker partner and as heirs with
you of the gracious gift of life, so that
nothing will hinder your prayers.
4. Allow the head of the family
who is the father to make and
state the final decision
Ephesians 5:23
For the husband is the head of
the wife as Christ is the head of
the church, his body, of which he
is the Savior.
5. Support the final decision
without complaining , grumbling
and speaking negatively
maintaining agreement and unity
Mark 3:25
If a house is divided against itself,
that house cannot stand
Philippians 2:14
Do everything without
complaining or arguing,

bitterness when decision is not
working or succeeding immediately
6. Evaluate the processes and
outcome of a decision in your
weekly Communication Time

The plans of the diligent lead to
profit as surely as haste leads to
poverty.
NOTE: Evaluation is a vital part in
obtaining success of the plans

decision if it is not successful at
a given target date.
