The document discusses how the devil targets Christians to lead them astray from God. It notes that the devil's primary tactics are to make Christians judgmental, unsubmissive, self-righteous, and focused on worldly things rather than God. It encourages Christians to remain humble, obedient to God and their spiritual leaders, and focused on living according to God's word in order to resist the devil's attempts to destroy their faith.
This Presentation is meant to warn people who desire to remain imperfect in their Christianity and encourage those who desire to be perfected in Christ Jesus.
Don't be surprised when -- not if -- you find yourself suffering in God's will -- This will happen! You are folllowing Christ's example of reproving the world with a love for them that hates sin enough to suffer. Paul said that in suffering, you're in God's death-to-Life march, on display for the world to marvel at. So prepare and consider proper suffering the honor it is, that is to be rewarded by Him.

Realizing your personal destiny and call in Christ by Prof Thio - 19/11/11zionyaf
Prof Thio will be speaking on the topic of realizing our personal destiny and call in Christ. As God's elect, we have a calling to fulfill. Paul expressed this as a prayer to the Thessalonians, "With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness and your every deed prompted by faith." (2 Thessalonians 1:11)
Are you affirmed of your calling in Christ? Have you been seeking to know and obey wherever God calls you to? Is your spiritual walk with Him deadening?
Prof Thio will be speaking on a topic that is particularly relevant in a world where secular humanist philosophies reign dominant. That humanity, instead of God, is the measure of all things - the very motivation of pride that led to the building of the Tower of Babel.
The talk will be centered on 2 Cor 10:5, where Paul declared against such forms of philosophy, "We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ." Paul further warned in Col 2:8,
"See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ."

Chapter 6 of "Bible Basics" a Bible study manual, dealing with satan, the devil and demons. The case is made that Satan doesn't exist as a personal, cosmic being; rather does the word simply mean an adversary, and is sometimes used about ordinary people, and at times is used as a personification of sin.

Slide 1: Title: Exploring the Mindfulness: Understanding Its Benefits
Slide 2: Introduction to Mindfulness
Mindfulness, defined as the conscious, non-judgmental observation of the present moment, has deep roots in Buddhist meditation practice but has gained significant popularity in the Western world in recent years. In today's society, filled with distractions and constant stimuli, mindfulness offers a valuable tool for regaining inner peace and reconnecting with our true selves. By cultivating mindfulness, we can develop a heightened awareness of our thoughts, feelings, and surroundings, leading to a greater sense of clarity and presence in our daily lives.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

What Should be the Christian View of Anime?Joe Muraguri
We will learn what Anime is and see what a Christian should consider before watching anime movies? We will also learn a little bit of Shintoism religion and hentai (the craze of internet pornography today).
The Book of Joshua is the sixth book in the Hebrew Bible and the Old Testament, and is the first book of the Deuteronomistic history, the story of Israel from the conquest of Canaan to the Babylonian exile.
4. The no.1 enemy of God
and the Christian.
(1 Pet 5:8 KJV) Be sober, be
vigilant; because your adversary the
devil, as a roaring lion, walketh
about, seeking whom he may
devour:
5. THE DEVIL’S TARGET
(1 Pet 5:6 KJV)
Humble
yourselves
therefore under the
mighty hand of
God, that he may
exalt you in due
time:
(Heb 13:17 KJV) Obey them that have the rule
over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch
for your souls, as they that must give account, that
they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for
that is unprofitable for you.
6. From the National Geographic I’ve seen on TV
Buffalos who got lost on the right track and company,
became prey of the lions.
(John 10:10 KJV) The thief
cometh not, but for to steal,
and to kill, and to destroy: I
am come that they might have
life, and that they might have
it more abundantly
7. Feeds on negative things
Become judgmental
and critical in spirit
Become unsubmissive
Become uncooperative
Become self-righteous
Works for self glory
No longer accepts correction
Finds own way of serving and gets bored why he is serving God
8. (Phil 4:8 KJV) Finally, brethren, whatsoever
things are true, whatsoever things are honest,
whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are
pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever
things are of good report; if there be any virtue,
and if there be any praise, think on these things.
(Eph 4:29 KJV) Let no corrupt
communication proceed out of your mouth,
but that which is good to the use of edifying,
that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
(Mat 7:3 KJV) And why beholdest
thou the mote that is in thy
brother's eye, but considerest not
the beam that is in thine own eye?
(Mat 7:1 KJV) Judge not, that ye
be not judged.
(Mat 7:2 KJV) For with what
judgment ye judge, ye shall be
judged: and with what measure ye
mete, it shall be measured to you
again.
Are you more faithful , obedient and fruitful than the
other person you judge? If not, you are self-righteous,
and have a beam in your eye & while you point one
finger to another, 3 of your fingers are pointing on you!!!
9. (Heb 13:17 KJV) Obey them that
have the rule over you, and
submit yourselves: for they watch
for your souls, as they that must
give account, that they may do it
with joy, and not with grief: for
that is unprofitable for you.
(James 4:7 KJV) Submit yourselves
therefore to God. Resist the devil, and
he will flee from you.
(1 Pet 5:5 KJV) Likewise, ye
younger, submit yourselves unto
the elder. Yea, all of you be
subject one to another, and be
clothed with humility: for God
resisteth the proud, and giveth
grace to the humble.
(1 Cor 12:21 KJV) And the eye
cannot say unto the hand, I have no
need of thee: nor again the head to
the feet, I have no need of you.
(1 Cor 12:22 KJV) Nay, much
more those members of the body,
which seem to be more feeble, are
necessary:
Submission and cooperation are God’s will
10. The foundation of the Christian is so important
for his growth and maturity
Such attitude will bring influence on others and his
growth will be affected so that he will not grow
(1 Cor 3:10 KJV) According to the
grace of God which is given unto
me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have
laid the foundation, and another
buildeth thereon. But let every man
take heed how he buildeth
thereupon.
The baby christian can easily be influence either by good or bad
(Heb 12:15 KJV) Looking
diligently lest any man fail of the
grace of God; lest any root of
bitterness springing up trouble you,
and thereby many be defiled;
If he becomes unsubmissive and critical at an early stage,
that shows he is always a murmuring and complaining
Christian and does not have the joy of serving.
(Phil 2:14 KJV) Do all things
without murmurings and
disputings:
11. (Gal 5:7 KJV) Ye did run well;
who did hinder you that ye should
not obey the truth?
(Gal 5:8 KJV) This persuasion
cometh not of him that calleth you.
(Gal 5:9 KJV) A little leaven
leaveneth the whole lump.
12. (Gal 5:16 KJV) This I say then,
Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not
fulfil the lust of the flesh.
(Gal 5:17 KJV) For the flesh
lusteth against the Spirit, and the
Spirit against the flesh: and these
are contrary the one to the other: so
that ye cannot do the things that ye
would
(Gal 5:19 KJV) Now the works of
the flesh are manifest, which are
these; Adultery, fornication,
uncleanness, lasciviousness,
(Gal 5:20 KJV) Idolatry,
witchcraft, hatred, variance,
emulations, wrath, strife,
seditions, heresies,
(Gal 5:21 KJV) Envyings,
murders, drunkenness, revellings,
and such like: of the which I tell
you before, as I have also told you
in time past, that they which do
such things shall not inherit the
kingdom of God.
13. CARNALITY BRINGS
DIVISIONS
I Cor. 3:1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you
as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto
babes in Christ.
2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for
hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet
now are ye able.
3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among
you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not
carnal, and walk as men?
14. --He can use your Neighbor
THE DEVIL CAN USE ANYBODY WHO IS
UNSPIRITUAL
Children
Parents
Classmates
Fellow Christian
Friend
Even the one seating
beside you.
(Psa 118:8 KJV) It is better to
trust in the LORD than to
put confidence in man
THE DEVIL WILL TEMPT YOU WHEN
YOU ARE DOWN OR DISCOURAGED
AND YOU WILL TEND TO RELY ON
YOURSELF OR ON MAN
/BUT YOU MUST RELY
ON GOD AND SUBMIT
TO HIM
(James 4:7 KJV) Submit
yourselves therefore to God.
Resist the devil, and he will
flee from you.
15. You can be religious but not
spiritual Chrisitan
If Christ lives in your heart and he
is in the center of your life, then you
will live according to his purpose
(Luke 19:10 KJV) For the Son of
man is come to seek and to save
that which was lost.
Discipleship is not intended for us to
focus on our needs and problems
Rather it is to focus on Jesus as the
solution to our problem, to be submissive
to learn and to reach out to others
13 And he goeth up into a
mountain, and calleth unto him
whom he would: and they came
unto him.
14 And he ordained twelve, that
they should be with him, and
that he might send them forth to
preach,
---MARK 3: 13-14
16. THE DEVIL IS WORKING
HARD TO MAKE YOU HIS
VICTIM.
(1 Pet 5:8 KJV) Be sober, be vigilant; because
your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh
about, seeking whom he may devour:
(John 10:10 KJV) The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to
kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and
that they might have it more abundantly.
17.
18. (1 John 2:16 KJV) For all that is in the world, the
lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the
pride of life, is not of the
Father, but is of the world.
19. (1 Cor 15:33 KJV) Be not deceived: evil
communications
corrupt good manners
(1 Th 5:12 - 13 KJV) 12 And we
beseech you, brethren, to know
them which labour among you,
and are over you in the Lord, and
admonish you;
13 And to esteem them very highly
in love for their work's sake. And
be at peace among yourselves.
(1 Tim 5:17 KJV) Let the elders
that rule well be counted worthy of
double honour, especially they
who labour in the word and
doctrine.
20. Envy and Strife
James 3:14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife
in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the
truth. 15 This wisdom descendeth not from above,
but is earthly, sensual, devilish. 16 For where
envying and strife is, there is confusion and every
evil work.
21. (1 Sam 15:23 KJV) For rebellion is as
the sin of witchcraft, and
stubbornness is as iniquity and
idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the
word of the LORD, he hath also
rejected thee from being king.
REBELLION
22. Would you submit to God
only in good times?
Do you have the humility to
acknowledge that God’s word is
right than what you think?
Do you want to follow
God’s word than what
you feel?
(Psa 37:23 KJV) The steps of a
good man are ordered by the
LORD: and he delighteth in his
way.
(Psa 100:2 KJV) Serve the
LORD with gladness: come
before his presence with singing.
Editor's Notes
You often hear of a man says, “I do not know what to do”.
But he knows what he is doing is wrong
He is just full of pride and do not want to change what he is doing.
The point is that he is a captive of the devil.
i. If he knows what is right and cannot do it then he is not free.
I want you to know that a man serving according to God’s will is doing it from the heart
NOT LIP SERVICE
THE DEVIL’S WORK
He opposes God’s work.
He tempts believers to cause disunity.
He tempts weak Christian not to be submissive so that they will not grow.
He causes “dwarf Christian” & spiritually “thin” Christian.
You many think you are doing God’s will
-- But when you are not submissive, you are not doing God’s will Heb. 13: 17
-- When you are serving according to your own way, you are being self-righteous
-- When you are motivated by pride, it is not God’s will. I Pet 5:6
When a person feels he no longer needs to win souls because he has already done many in the past, then he stops growing.
If you do not want to witness, because there are others doing it already, then you do not want to grow and to learn.
Have you already won a soul so that you need not win anymore?
Have you already become effective?
Don’t you know that when you Criticize others, you are judging them.
What do you feel after you have criticize another person so well, YOU FEEL YOU ARE RIGHTEOUS.
YOU FEEL PRIDE, you seem to tell others, I AM BETTER THAN ANYONE.
The foundation of the Christian is so important for his growth and maturity
If he becomes unsubmissive and critical at an early stage, that shows he is always a murmuring and complaining Christian and does not have the joy of serving.
