9. A quick explanation of the Scottish Wars and
the Battle of Stirling Bride.
The Scottish Wars for Independence
-The Scottish wars were a series of
conflicts which took place during the
13th and 14th centuries. There were
two different wars- though both
ending with the same result as from
before the war. They are known to be
important and defining moment’s of
Scotland’s history because of the
emergence of new tech like the
Longbow.
Battle of Stirling Bridge
- It happened during the first Scottish
war for independence and it was
Wallace and a man named Andrew de
Moray who fought against the British
and won. The importance of this
battle is that it taught the British the
harsh lesson of how the infantry can
serve as a good Calvary.
10. Guardian of Scotland.
In late 1297 or early 1298, William Wallace was crowned Guardian of
Scotland in the name of the deposed king of Scotland, John Balliol.

It was not long after when Wallace was
captured by the English who accused him of
treason. Although Wallace claimed he had

spread around Scotland to show what
happened to those who committed treason.
