William Rosenberg
• Mr. Rosenberg was born in Boston in 1916. He
  demonstrated an entrepreneurial spirit at a
  young age. A teenager during the Great
  Depression, he once took a block of ice to a
  racetrack on a hot summer day and sold ice
  chips at 10 cents a piece. He brought home
  $171.
• They sell hot beverages, iced beverages,
  frozen beverages, bakery goods and
  Sandwiches.
• Opened in 1948 as Open Kettle in Quincy,
  Massachusetts. Renamed Dunkin’ Donuts 2
  years later in 1950.
