HOW TO MAKE SPAGHETTI
Ingredients
Uncooked Spaghetti Pasta
Red Sauce
Grated Parmesan Cheese (optional)
Bread and Butter (optional)
Cooking the Spaghetti
1 Find a medium size pot and fill it with cold water. Turn the stovetop on a
high heat. Wait until the water is at a boil.
2 Place the uncooked spaghetti into the boiling water. Be careful not to splash
boiling water at yourself! You may need to break the spaghetti in half to make sure
it is all being soaked and covered with water.
3 Cook pasta for 8-12 minutes, depending on the directions on the box, and
your personal taste. The longer you cook the spaghetti, the softer the texture of
the noodle will be.
4 - Drain the pasta. Remove the pasta from the heat using a potholder. Drain the
pasta in the sink using a colander or strainer. Once drained, transfer the pasta
back into the pot.
Preparing the Sauce
1 Pour sauce of your choice into a small pot. Keep the sauce on a medium to
high heat.
2 Sauce is pre-cooked, so it just needs to be heated up! Allow to heat for 5-10
minutes, stirring occasionally. This step could be done during the last 5 minutes of
cooking time for the pasta.
3 Once sauce is hot, remove from heat and pour over cooked pasta into the
medium pot. You can stir the sauce into the pasta, or you can serve the sauce on
top of the pasta.
Finishing Touches
1 Season pasta to your liking. If the sauce was unseasoned, you may want to
add basil, oregano, or garlic salt. For extra taste, add parmesan cheese!
2 Pasta tastes great with a side of bread and butter! Italian bread and butter
are a fast and easy way to add to a pasta dish, or you can check out our WikiHow

3 Serve and Enjoy!
