- what is sojourner house? why do we care about digital abuse? because this is a relationship issue. It’s not a problem with the technology, it’s a problem with relationships.
- here’s how we involved young people

- Most kids want to have positive experiences in social networks and use interactive media for positive ends. So, craft your interactive strategies with them in mind. Make information easy to share, reduce barriers for feedback. Strongly consider having this stuff happen in real time (sure, things like filtered comments will reduce the possibiity of cruelty, but it will detract from the autnenticity of the experience and prevent kids from being able to tell their story. )
- Just because you have a facebook presence, or a blog or making a game doesn’t make you cool and doesn’t protect you from being lame. You can only be cool if you are using these tools to help kids tell their stories and share authentic life experiences.
