If I continue being a Student Ambassador I will be doing it for my 3rd year. I would like
to use my experiences with new students to continue to make ISB a nice and friendly
place for them and make them feel welcomed and happy. I truly enjoy helping out
and meeting new people because I love telling them what a great learning
environment ISB really has and introducing them to new things: the campus card
system, their new classrooms, etc. I find that helping new students fit into and feel
comfortable in a new school to be really rewarding because I know what it feels like
to feel lost and disoriented on the first day of going to new school. I have been to two
international schools before coming to ISB (Harrow and ICS). And because of this I
feel that I can relate to the new students, the majority of whom are third culture kids,
like me.

Last year I made many friends during the orientation day and I was very glad to help
them find their way around ISB. At first they said they were sure they would get lost
on the first day of school because ISB is such a big school, but I told them not to
worry because I would take them to their classes and after just one day, they got the
hang of ISB and they were very glad I was there to help them out.

I am a very friendly, enthusiastic, and open person. I am also very responsible and I
always go to appointments and meetings on time. If I am chosen to continue being a
member of this club, I am sure I will do my part by continuing to be a supportive and
active member. I will also try to contribute more than I did last year.
