We can use the power of the blood of Jesus for our benefit. Claiming His blood daily, builds up a shield of protection around you, your household and your ministry.
It is common to refer to the process of maturing as a disciple as spiritual formation. Here, based upon work by Greg Ogden, I give a four stage process for growing into maturity, and fruitfulness, as a follower of King Jesus.

John 3:1-5. A New Life In Christ. In the new life we have been born again. In the new life we are a new creation. In the new life we crucify the flesh with its passions and desires. In the new life we are transformed by the renewing of our minds. In the new life we are renewed by the Holy Spirit. In the new life we are dead to sin but alive to God. In the new life we are washed from our sins. in the new life we put to death the old man and put on the new man. In the new life we died and our life is hidden with Christ in God. In the new life we were brought back from death in sin.
Don't be surprised when -- not if -- you find yourself suffering in God's will -- This will happen! You are folllowing Christ's example of reproving the world with a love for them that hates sin enough to suffer. Paul said that in suffering, you're in God's death-to-Life march, on display for the world to marvel at. So prepare and consider proper suffering the honor it is, that is to be rewarded by Him.

Realizing your personal destiny and call in Christ by Prof Thio - 19/11/11zionyaf
Prof Thio will be speaking on the topic of realizing our personal destiny and call in Christ. As God's elect, we have a calling to fulfill. Paul expressed this as a prayer to the Thessalonians, "With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness and your every deed prompted by faith." (2 Thessalonians 1:11)
Are you affirmed of your calling in Christ? Have you been seeking to know and obey wherever God calls you to? Is your spiritual walk with Him deadening?
Prof Thio will be speaking on a topic that is particularly relevant in a world where secular humanist philosophies reign dominant. That humanity, instead of God, is the measure of all things - the very motivation of pride that led to the building of the Tower of Babel.
The talk will be centered on 2 Cor 10:5, where Paul declared against such forms of philosophy, "We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ." Paul further warned in Col 2:8,
"See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ."
2 Tim. 1:12 For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day.

Shalom Saints,
It is in this time of Purim that we are reminded again of the power of putting on the armour of God.
Having situations and calamities still happening in our lives, we are still struggling with the very basic in our lives, to obtain peace and His promise.
Paul focused the believer on spiritual warfare, who we are wrestling with...
Ephesians 6:12 NKJV
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but
...against principalities,
...against powers,
...against the rulers of the darkness of this age,
...against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
The believer will not stand a chance if he does not put on the FULL armour of God. A partial armour also makes the believer vulnerable.
Let's learn how the enemy attack believers and how the armour of God protect us. Also to claim this privilege of protection that God has given unto each one of us.
Ephesians 6:13 NKJV
Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Earthquake in Turkey, flood in Johor, snow in Hollywood...you can name each disaster that may seemed a distance to us physically. One disaster that is closest to ourselves is when it happen to our family.
Come and join us and learn how we can put on this armor corporately and stand firm on His protection and promise.
As you know who we are, a prayer altar. Come and join us who can pray for you behind your back.
I Timothy 4:6-10. GREAT PRINCIPLES OF CHRISTIANITY.
I. CHRISTIANITY IS THE GREATEST INVESTMENT IN THIS LIFE AND FOR ALL ETERNITY
II. CHRISTIANITY IS THE GREATEST INSURANCE TO BE HAD ON EARTH
III. CHRISTIANITY IS THE GREATEST INSULATION AGAINST SIN, CRIME AND EVIL
IV. CHRISTIANITY IS THE GREATEST INDOCTRINATION AGAINST SIN, ERROR AND FAILURE.

We are forgiven by God through Christ, therefore we ought to forgive others even as God has forgiven us. This is the heart of the Gospel. Growth in the spiritual life is often hindered because we often refuse to forgive others.
The Lord's Prayer was not taught to be repeated without thought as to what it means. It given by our Lord to teach us a model for prayer. In this presentation we will look at the components that make up a the way we ought to pray.
Are we trying to impress the world? Are we trying to impress others? Who are we trying to impress? Ultimately we can impress no one, not even God. But rewards are with God, not because we can impress him, but because he honors those that love him.
John 1:1 claims that all life is in Christ. He is the creator of life and he sustains all life. He is the author of physical life and spiritual life. Without him there is no life.
We call it the triumphal entry. Compared with the entry of other kings and generals it was modest. Compared to his future entry into Jerusalem all the kings entries of the past seem insignificant.
They Trusted In Something Greater Than ThemselvesDavid Turner
The founding fathers of our nation trusted in something greater than the Declaration of Independence. They trusted in the Bible and the God of the Bible. Our present leaders would do well to put their trust in the same God and the same Bible.
The greatest book of liberty is not a document or a declaration. The greatest book of liberty is the Bible. The bible presents the Gospel, the good news that sets me free.
The Book of Joshua is the sixth book in the Hebrew Bible and the Old Testament, and is the first book of the Deuteronomistic history, the story of Israel from the conquest of Canaan to the Babylonian exile.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…

2. When you became a Christian, you became a
soldier in a war against evil powers. Satan
does not want non-Christians to hear the
gospel. He does not want them to see how
real Christ can be in an individual's life. The
suffering we are going to consider has
nothing to do with what we bring on
ourselves because of sin or bad attitudes.
3. The suffering, trials or tribulation that we are
going to consider are those which Satan and
the world bring upon us because we have
dedicated our lives to the Savior. glory to the
Savior.
4. There are three areas in which you can suffer:
the spiritual, the emotional (soul), and the
physical. These trials and tribulations can be
turned into joyful victories and bring much
glory to the Savior.
5. 2Timothy 2:3 Take your share of suffering as a
good soldier of Christ Jesus.
What are Christians called?
6. 2Corinthians 10:3 For though we live as human
beings, we do not wage war according to
human standards,
In what kind of war is the true Christian
fighting?
7. 2Timothy 2:4 No one in military service gets
entangled in matters of everyday life;
otherwise he will not please the one who
recruited him.
What are you to endure for the Savior?
8. 2Corinthians 10:4 for the weapons of our
warfare are not human weapons, but are
made powerful by God for tearing down
strongholds. We tear down arguments
What kind of weapons does the Christian have?
9. 2Timothy 2:4 No one in military service gets
entangled in matters of everyday life;
otherwise he will not please the one who
recruited him.
What is the purpose of being a good soldier?
10. 1John 5:4 because everyone who has been
fathered by God conquers the world.
What will give you constant victory?
11. Philippians 1:29 For it has been granted to you
not only to believe in Christ but also to suffer
for him,
What two things is a believer called upon to do
for Jesus' sake?
12. Eph 6:10-12 Finally, be strengthened in the Lord
and in the strength of his power. (11) Clothe
yourselves with the full armor of God so that
you may be able to stand against the schemes
of the devil. (12) For our struggle is not
against flesh and blood, but against the rulers,
against the powers, against the world rulers of
this darkness, against the spiritual forces of
evil in the heavens.
What are we fighting against?
13. Eph 6:18 With every prayer and petition, pray at
all times in the Spirit, and to this end be alert,
with all perseverance and requests for all the
saints.
What must we do to be good soldiers?
14. John 15:18 "If the world hates you, be aware
that it hated me first.
John 3:13 No one has ascended into heaven
except the one who descended from heaven
— the Son of Man.
What attitude can you expect from the world
because of a life lived for your wonderful
Savior and Lord?
15. Thus, your first reason for suffering is that you
are in a battle against evil powers.
16. 1Peter 2:21 For to this you were called, since
Christ also suffered for you, leaving an
example for you to follow in his steps.
What kind of example did Jesus leave you?
17. 1Peter 4:16 But if you suffer as a Christian, do
not be ashamed, but glorify God that you bear
such a name.
What attitude should you have when you
suffer?
18. 2Timothy 3:12 Now in fact all who want to live
godly lives in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.
What definitely will happen if you live a godly
life?
19. 1Peter 4:13 But rejoice in the degree that you
have shared in the sufferings of Christ, so that
when his glory is revealed you may also
rejoice and be glad.
What does I Peter 4:13 say about suffering?
20. 1Peter 1:7 Such trials show the proven
character of your faith, which is much more
valuable than gold — gold that is tested by
fire, even though it is passing away — and will
bring praise and glory and honor when Jesus
Christ is revealed.
What is the purpose of the trial of your faith?
21. Rom 8:18 For I consider that our present
sufferings cannot even be compared to the
glory that will be revealed to us.
What do you need to keep in mind concerning
suffering?
22. A second reason for suffering is that you might
bring glory to the Lord Jesus Christ.
23. 2Co 1:1-7 From Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by
the will of God, and Timothy our brother, to the
church of God that is in Corinth, with all the
saints who are in all Achaia. (2) Grace and peace
to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus
Christ! (3) Blessed is the God and Father of our
Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God
of all comfort, (4) who comforts us in all our
troubles so that we may be able to comfort those
experiencing any trouble with the comfort with
which we ourselves are comforted by God.
24. (5) For just as the sufferings of Christ overflow
toward us, so also our comfort through Christ
overflows to you. (6) But if we are afflicted, it
is for your comfort and salvation; if we are
comforted, it is for your comfort that you
experience in your patient endurance of the
same sufferings that we also suffer. (7) And
our hope for you is steadfast because we
know that as you share in our sufferings, so
also you will share in our comfort.
What does God do for you in your trials?
25. What is the purpose (according to the above
passage) of the comfort received from God
during the trial?
26. Galatians 6:2 Carry one another's burdens, and
in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
What fulfills the law of Christ, which is to love
one another?
27. Galatians 6:9-10 So we must not grow weary in
doing good, for in due time we will reap, if we
do not give up. (10) So then, whenever we
have an opportunity, let us do good to all
people, and especially to those who belong to
the family of faith.
List one thing you are to do and one thing you
are not to do.
28. • 2Thessalonians 1:4 As a result we ourselves
boast about you in the churches of God for
your perseverance and faith in all the
persecutions and afflictions you are enduring.
• What two things should you have in your
tribulations?
29. A third reason for suffering is that you might
help comfort others who are going through
the same thing.
30. Hebrews 12:6 "For the Lord disciplines the one
he loves and chastises every son he accepts.“
Who does God correct or chasten?
31. Hebrews 12:6 "For the Lord disciplines the one
he loves and chastises every son he accepts."
How many Christians does a loving Father
correct?
32. Hebrews 12:11 Now all discipline seems painful
at the time, not joyful. But later it produces
the fruit of peace and righteousness for those
trained by it.
How does this correction seem in the
beginning?
What are the results of this correction?
33. Psalm 119:67 I used to suffer because I would
stray off, but now I keep your instructions.
Psalm 119:71 It was good for me to suffer, so
that I might learn your statutes.
What two things does the Psalmist say about
testing?
34. A fourth reason for suffering is that you might
mature and grow by correction.
35. In the following verses tell what God desires for
your life:
Psalm 138:2 I will bow down toward your holy
temple, and give thanks to your name,
because of your loyal love and faithfulness, for
you have exalted your promise above the
entire sky.
36. Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your
heart, and do not rely on your own
understanding. (6) Acknowledge him in all
your ways, and he will make your paths
straight.
37. Psalm 35:9 Then I will rejoice in the LORD and be
happy because of his deliverance.
38. Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the
gospel, for it is God's power for salvation to
everyone who believes, to the Jew first and
also to the Greek.
39. Acts 16:15 After she and her household were
baptized, she urged us, "If you consider me to
be a believer in the Lord, come and stay in my
house." And she persuaded us.
40. 3 John 1:4 I have no greater joy than this: to
hear that my children are living according to
the truth.
41. Galatians 6:2 Carry one another's burdens, and
in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
42. 2Timothy 2:15 Make every effort to present
yourself before God as a proven worker who
does not need to be ashamed, teaching the
message of truth accurately.
43. • James 4:7 So submit to God. But resist the
devil and he will flee from you.
44. 1Pe 2:13 Be subject to every human institution for
the Lord's sake, whether to a king as supreme
1Pe 2:17-18 Honor all people, love the family of
believers, fear God, honor the king. (18) Slaves,
be subject to your masters with all reverence, not
only to those who are good and gentle, but also
to those who are perverse.
45. Mark 16:15 He said to them, "Go into all the
world and preach the gospel to every
creature.
46. 1John 1:4 Thus we are writing these things so
that our joy may be complete.
What will be the result of yielding to a most
gracious, loving Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ?
47. At the moment you trusted in Jesus Christ as
your Savior, you received the Holy Spirit,
(Ephesians 1:13, 14; I John 5:6, 10) and He
dwells within your heart and life. He gives you
the power to serve and love the Savior
through the Word (Ephesians 6:17).
48. Pray daily;
read God's Word;
by faith practice it in your life, daily praying for
wisdom and understanding
- THAT'S JOY!!!
